These are simple jerry cans with a good closure system.  Finish is nice.  Cans seal well IMO.  I use these with a battery operated stick pump for filling snowmobiles with gasoline.  

The pump fits in the opening and reaches to the bottom of the can.  This isn't true of some of the competitors with fancy (and hard to operate) lever type closures.  Since I do not use the spout I can't render an opinion on its efficacy.

I'm buying more before our government finds a way to screw up this product like all the other fuel cans on the market.

Value %26 Quality

Good can for a good price. Well built, I like the vent on the back of the can, the fill spout being submerged in the can is nice feature but will breakdown over time, it's plastic. Nice o-rings on lid, spout,  and vent cap proving a nice seal. I would recommend ringing the inside out with a little acetone and air. The cans come with some oil in them from the manufacturer, not a big deal.

Great can for durability and longevity.

Your civilian delivery person left two of these packages leaning against the mailbox two feet from the road. Anyone could have scooped them up and absconded. Other packages by these people have been thrown on the wet lawn (yes, one of them got soaked) and not delivered to my front porch. Lazy. Entitlement Generation. I may be totally switching to Amazon whose professional delivery people place the packages on the porch.

Some of Your Delivery People Should Be Replaced

Have about 5 of these Gas Cans.  They have been in use for about 3 years and 
they work very well.  I spray  WD-40 inside when they are empty and it stops
any rust.

GREAT GAS CANS

Very durable. This is the 2nd can we ordered. We were having problems with squirrels eating holes in our plastic containers. These cans solved our problem.

Shipping was the problem child. I won't shop Walmart again unless and until I get a choice of shippers besides FEDEX. They dropped the package at the wrong address and when I notified Walmart and FedEx they both sent me texts telling me to go fi d it and let them know. The driver took a picture that was obviously not my address and it was at the road not on the porch as posted by the driver.  When I further complained to fedex I was told that they would pick up the box and redeliver to my address but that never happened. I finally went looking and found it at a neighbor's driveway right near the ditch meanwhile both Walmart and FedEx continued to send texts telling me to go find it. So I suppose this is the new norm for rural delivery by both Walmart and FedEx. This is a continual problem with FedEx. UPS, AMAZON, USPS, %26DHL all get it right. Give me the option to choose UPS even at increased cost or I won't be back.

These Jerrycans are pretty good except for the plastic fill hose. It doesn't seem like it will last very long and to get another one might be an issue. I do a lot of off roading and need extra fuel to carry with me, because there no gas stations when you're out off road. Plus I carry extra diesel fuel as well for my diesel heater. I bought a cheaper fuel Jerrycan can from Walmart and the fuel spout leaked really bad so I returned them and bought the better ones. Furthermore these Jerrycans have a lip on the bottom for better handling the cheaper ones didn't have this lip and which it makes it way harder to pour the 
fuel. I bought a fuel transfer pump and this pump is battery operated so you don't have to lift it to pour the fuel.

Not what I would call HEAVY DUTY, but works fine to keep in my camper trailer tongue. Very similar to the actual Gerry Cans, except the handle is not quite the same… but most people would never notice nor care.

Although the jerry can is well made, the spout is great, and the lit fits well, there was no ring for me to use the spout with.  I have to figure out how to get the gas back out of the can now.

Missing part

Not a review of the product but of the process. Said I would get it in 2 days which would have been plenty of time for the winter storm. Next day said it would be delayed and gave me the opportunity to cancel. So I cancelled before it was even shipped! I checked thru the tracker.. Came 6 days later anyway... Don't buy from this particular seller. Walmart has other sellers
