This is a great starter kayak for anyone that is lighter than 150 lbs.  My wife wanted to try this sport but didn't want to spend tons of money.  If she decided she likes kayaking she will get a better one later,  Easily transported in truck of camper.  So far she loves it,

I could not find a small kayak anywhere else so I was very pleased to be able to get this kayak.  I had been in to a few stores as well before I began my online search.  I was so happy to find this so I will be able to manage it as a large kayak would be too much for me to handle.

Fantastic first kids kayak. I've purchased one for all three of my kids. The only thing is, I wish that it did come with the back rest but other than that absolutely no complaints super lightweight very durable.

We purchased for our grandkids (age 6 %26 8) and they were great! Easy for them to maneuver (beginners) - we tethered the 6 yr old to us.  Kayaked on fairly smooth lake for a couple hours. Easy to transport on our top of car kayak rack in between our 2 adult kayaks.  No leaks and were stable for both of the girls. Fairly light weight also. Very pleased.

Great kayaks for youth kayaking on lake

I purchased this youth kayak for my two grandchildren. I'm very happy with the construction and sturdiness of it. Love the blue color! It's handy to have the foot rests to fit different size kids. One thing you should know is that this kayak does not come with a paddle, you have to purchase that separately.

Reliable and Sturdy Kid's Kayak

I bought this kayak for my very tall 9-year-old, fits him perfect. He has a lot of fun on it going down the river. The seat back is pretty worthless but he doesn't need it. The item arrived without a paddle, but Walmart took care of it when the manufacturer wouldn't.

great for kids, definitely not for adults

The brand and price was what I was looking for, but it doesn't move in the water the way I hoped.  I think I'm too close to the weight limit.  It would work great for any kid, but not an adult.

LIFETIME PRODUCTS

We bought the Bali 6 youth kayak for $114, but returned it and ordered this one because this Lifetime Dash 6.5 had a backrest.  We paid $35 more to buy this one for $149 with a backrest.  Then this Lifetime Dash 6.5 ft kayak comes with NO paddle.  We contacted Lifetime and they said this is the only youth kayak that comes with no paddle, because it comes with a backrest instead... a cheap flimsy foam backrest that doesn't adjust all that well.  What a joke.  

Just go buy the Bali 6 for less money unless you want a cheap flimsy backrest for $35, and then you STILL have to go buy your own paddle.

Terrible value compared to Bali 6

Hoping to get my money back. There is a huge hole in the bottom. Turns out, you don't want your kayak to fill up with water! While in the middle of the lake! So disappointed.

I ordered a kayak that was suppose to come with the paddle.  The paddle was not shipped with it and my only options are do without or take a $15 promotional credit.
