Wearing Boots now.  No Foot or ankle pain. Didn't need a break in period.  Oil and Grease Slip Resistant shoe.  Very comfortable shoe

Work Shoe

As always these boots from Bates did not disappoint great fitting. The side zipper makes it a breeze to put on and take off. Great buy will be buying another pair soon in a different color.

Bates boots great workmanship and quality

My husband has worn the non-zipper form of this boot for 30 years. It's hard to find that version at a decent price and then he tried this style. Absolutely loves them and they last for years!

Tried and true from a contractor

The boots were exactly what I needed for work, replacing my old work shoes that were starting to hurt my ankles. Now I got really nice boots to run around in without any ankle or foot pain!

The boots fit well and are comfortable. Haven't had a chance to take them for a long walk yet.

Bates Boots

Perfect for someone that has trouble walking but also the zip on the side is perfect for the older person who may need a little assistance.

I ordered these boots because I have worn Bates boots for many years.  They are comfortable and very easy to wear.

Motorcycle Boots

For the on-line price of $57, these are decent boots.  I normally need a wide shoe, but these fit okay width-wise.  After 8 hours I had moderate discomfort on the bottom of my feet, even with replacement insoles (from other boots that don't have this issue).  At the in-store price of $89, I wouldn't consider these.

Decent value @ on-line price, not @ in-store price

This is the second pair of this type in a size 10 that I purchased. The fit is WAY smaller width-wise than the first pair I received a week earlier. Price point was great. I have a fairly narrow foot….but these were unwearable. Returning for a larger pair because the boot is great. Not sure why the big difference between them
