I had brought water bottles before, but none were as satisfying as this insulated water bottle. I like the color of pink that is on the bottle. I enjoying having and extra handle to grip the water bottle. The built-in straw is a great addition to the water bottle for a leak proof sip. I don't like carrying a lot of items around while at the L. A. Fitness Club;so, the lightweight bottle was easy for me to carry while traveling to around the club. The bottle is made of steel and small enough to be place in a work bag if needed. The top locks in place and no water gets out of the top. The sport cap is perfect for someone like me who likes to seal the water bottle after each use. Thank you, Walmart.

Mainstays Pink 24 ounce Water Bottle

Absolutely love this bottle. I bought 3 (1 each in purple, pink, and blue) and the colors are pretty! It actually keeps cold drinks cold for over 12 hours. I love the little handle, makes carrying it with other items much easier. The lid opens and closes easily, the straw cap part is easily cleaned and the straw going into the bottle is easily removed and cleaned as well (and easily returned). I paid $10 for each and it's well worth the money!

Excellent bottle

Seems like solid construction and quality. Thought out design ensures that the entire mouthpiece stays protected but is still convenient, which was the main feature I was looking for. I like that it holds a lot but is still sleek enough to fit in a bag or cup holder. And the rubber/silicone gaskets are removable for cleaning so it shouldn't mold

Comparable to competitors

Bought this water bottle for the fact that the mouthpiece is completely covered and prevents germs from getting on it. However, I feel like it is not as leak proof as other water bottles similar designs. The area around the mouthpiece tends to allow liquid to leak out. See photos. Overall it is still a good water bottle and I like how it has a handle and that the mouthpiece is covered. The opening is wide enough to dispense ice into it. I wish the bottom had a little silicone pad. I have put this in the dishwasher without any issues so far.

Good enough but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water bottle is very cute and easy to carry around. The quality and durability is decent, nothing excellent. It doesn't leak but it doesn't keep things cold for super long. I think it's good for kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great water bottle for on the go. I love the handle especially at the gym when my hands are full. The top is leak proof. And the body is study. This thing has been dropped and kicked over a few times. Super easy to clean too. My only complaint is the angle of the straw is a little awkward for me. I feel like the protective top gets in the way a little bit. Other than that this a great water bottle for the value. Keeps my water cold even when I leave it in my hot car for long periods of time.

I have the previous bottle, and it was better. The straw on this one isn't long enough, it has a weird bubbling over leak thing if it hasn't been upright, and the drinking part of the straw isn't really comfortable. but for the price and effectiveness on keeping the water coldish, it's ok.

A bad version of the Mainstay brand bottle

Flip top broke on first use. Top has an awkward design as it is - it doesn't fully open - but at least there's a cover for the flip straw; or at least there was a cover. That's the piece that broke off. Now the straw folds over but you have to stick your fingers in it to open and close it. That defeats the hygienic concept of a flip straw. The old mainstays water bottles also had smaller straws which I prefer. I won't be purchasing any more of these until it's redesigned.

Flip top broke on first use

When you drink from the lid without the straw attached (by tipping it upwards) it leaks everywhere, but when you drink from it with the straw attached, it doesn't flow smoothly- it takes too much effort and not much comes out. I recommend a Manna bottle, even though they're more expensive. You get what you pay for, I guess.
