Lid's locking mechanism can be unreliable.

It's multifunctional. Its ability to sear then take the same pan and insert it into its base to finish cooking. I have an induction burner so it's not compatible. It's very light weight and bigger than the avg. 8 qt. About 10.5 inches tall. It doesn't not require scrubbing because of its nonstick finish but a soft wash cloth or soft side of a sponge. The reviews warn about holding the pot by its lid when traveling, you're supposed to carry it by its handles that the lid sits in. Would absolutely recommend!

I saw this in the store but decided to order it online. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was $10.00 cheaper online. With todays economy and Christmas fast approaching, this savings was much appreciated.

Bright color, slim line locking lid, even heat when cooking. Easy to use no color change in pot after use and no paint chipping. A good seal to the lid ease of chord storage and great to use for transport. Good value. Recipes for all meats can be used including a short steam cook w salmon and ease to follow desert cooking. You can make rice.

Great

Need a very good crock pot that holds more than the typical one that is highly reviewed but not at a high price. Upon my research I came across the brand Greenpan. Walmart had the best price and made the purchase. Got this mainly for Thanksgiving but I think it will replace all our old crockpots. So far so good!

Great Crockpot!

Today was my first-time using it %26 I loved it. It cooked my stuffed peppers so fast. It's lightweight %26 is so much better then my out of date, old one. Like I can schedule to start in the middle of the night if I want to. Also like that you can use it on your stove top or oven. Love it!!

I love my new 8-quart locking lid slow cooker!  It is a beautiful edition to my kitchen! I have made several things, from beef stew to honey garlic chicken thighs.  Both turned out so well! I love the seal that the lid has. It doesn't just sit there, it locks and seals in all the flavors.  It will be so handy to carry also when I take meals for church dinners.

I'm really not sure about this lid....as far as washing it.   And when I washed it water was trapped in the locking housing, so I'm not really happy with that as this could cause mold, etc. in the appliance.
Overall, I do like the pot as I was able to place it into the oven first to brown what I was making and then into the slow cooker unit to finish cooking.  I do like how light weight this item is and I hope the problem with the lid doesn't become an issue down the road.

GreenPan 8 Quart Family Size Locking Lid Slow Cook

I paid an additional $10 for the Oxford blue. The box was labeled Oxford blue. However, upon opening, I received the graphite. Very disappointing my local Walmart has none in stock and I was relying on this for holiday cooking it now is on sale online for 59.97. 
Overall, the product looks like a great slow cooker. I just did not want the graphite color I ordered and paid for the blue or would've accepted the cream. I hope Walmart or the seller will contact me and offer a solution.

Wrong color received

We were super excited to get this product. It was in our price range and large enough for what we needed. We got the item put in something for dinner turned it on and it turned off after an hour. We tried it again in different outlets and it would turn on for maybe a couple minutes and then it would shut off. Hoping somehow I can get my money back!

Doesn't stay on

It looks nice, but the buttons are super sensitive/touchy, and after just 3 uses, the lining is peeling off! I got it last minute as an extra for the holidays so it's rarely been used - will be throwing it out.
