My sister's house caught on fire and they did not have access to all account numbers they needed. That made me think that my family needed an emergency bag to grab with copies of important papers. The Portable File Organizer Tote was just what I needed. The Tote is sturdier than expected. The damask cover is very attractive. It is a very good buy for your money.

I saw this file folder case in Grandinrod catalog for $99. 00 for a legal and standard size. I just wanted the standard size and so I ordered here and boy am I shocked at what excellent quality, color, and size for this price. My neighbor bought the others and I swear I cannot tell the difference! Great quality and sturdiness with capability of hanging file folders. It sits in my trunk and doesn't seem to fall over during driving. I'll definitely buy more. I got the turquoise and just love it. Great gift idea!

I wanted something to keep my crochet patterns organized. This is perfect. It holds a nice amount of file folders and printed patterns in each. It feels very sturdy and is super cute. I ordered the pink one and love the color. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great organization idea!

It looks very nice. It has two rods so it can support hanging files. But one of the rods is missing the screw on the end to be able to place it and hold hanging folders. Is there any way I can get one replaced?

This was not what I expected. I thought it would be more like a fabric but it is much more like a plastic molded shape with no give. It will work well for file storage, but not what I think of when I think of something I would carry files in - more like a box. I do like the size and the blue color is very pretty. I would recommend the product as long as the purchaser knows it has hard sizes and not really flexible.

Chic File Organizer

I ordered this item because of the ability to hang my on file folder, only it came with only '3' screws. Now I'm required to go to a hardware store to pick-up '1' (1/4"""" screw). Maybe if they were not floating around separately in a large plastic bag with the Organizer with holes in the plastic for air, this will not have happened. Suggestion! Contain the '4' screws in a sealed 1"""" x 1"""" bag taped to the rods. Common sense solution! People order online for time & convenience. When that's interrupted to take shortcuts, what's the point!! I will not recommend this product at this time to anyone as stated below.

Good Features, but missing part

Color

Cute but it's much wider than I expected so you can't hold both handles in 1 hand. The main problem though is that the metal rails that hold up the files are not permanently attached %26 they do not stay in place. One side or the other is always falling off.

Design flaw

I m in the process of returning 4out of 5 of the chic file. They did not ship very well; arrived askew and the file rods don't stay in place. I wanted them as gifts but wouldn't give them once I saw them. I am only returning 4 cause 5 won't fit in the box. I am waiting for the return label to be sent.

Poor construction

Bought this recently but was very unhappy with it. I found it to be bent out of shape and the metal rods that were to hold up hanging files wouldn't since file was irregular in shape. Too much hassle to return, you did however say you would give me credit for the item since I did not wish it to be replaced.

Very disappointed
