Coleman, although not the top-of-the-line in coolers, makes a good product and one that will work very well for an upcoming family reunion we are arranging.  ********* Quart coolers are large enough for 3 or 4 fresh salmon. That volume for $70 is amazing!

I bought this because I was taking food up to my daughter in college and we were stopping overnight at a friend's and I didn't want the food to spoil. My current 1980's coller is too small for road trips/transport and I got the biggest one for a great value that I can find. The reviews seemed good and I figured I could return it. I love it! A few notes. It is quite large. Was a good size for this weekend, but prob too big for local needs. Let me repeat - it's very large, which means it takes a lot of ice to fill. I froze some large ice packs, had my ice machine run as much as it could overnight, and then bought two bags of ice. It did the job. I heard the ice slushing around 5 days later before it had all turned to water (this is in ~55 degree day temps). Overall I'm very happy I made the purchase - it will be used on many road trips to come.

Love it, size is very large

I used this cooler to bring back an entire frozen turkey (feathers and all) and a frozen turkey breast from Texas to NC.  It was an all-day trip (with a 3 hour connection in 85 degree DFW).  When I arrived home, both were still frozen and only about 20% of the packed ice had melted.  This performance exceeded my expectations for a modestly priced cooler.

Pricing started at 59.99 for the 150.00 QT cooler.  Within 3 weeks pricing was up to 125-145, 
I switch to the 120 QT cooler starting at 49.99 not paying 79.99 temporarily showing mulitple places at 120.00.  Pricing does not jump around that much went purchase in advance for promo or reg stock.  It is not due to delivery charges on future order maybe but not on current stock. Plus when looking for the promo or discount items that are damage to purchase they are asking the same pricing.   and the pricing on the smaller coolers are going up the same way.  disappointed in this price increase while in stock items .  
The cooler is beautiful with the  thick walls.  Nice handles, sturdy for seating on. And just nice looking.  Just very disappointed in the pricing increasing to almost double in less than 30 days.

I bought two large Coleman coolers for our school's mountain biking team. The Walmart website was easy to navigate, and the payment page was very user-friendly. I received the coolers in two days, and they are exactly what we needed. The bonus was that they were on sale, so we got them for a price that was lower than I had budgeted.

We bought two of these coolers so my son-in-law could go down to Buford, South Carolina and buy 100 pounds of shrimp and to mix with ice and bring it back to Easley South Carolina to sell to make some money. They have kept the ice and shrimp very cold and they have a spout on the side so you can drain the excess water every day so you can refill the ice to keep the shrimp better chilled. They hold a lot of shrimp and ice. The Coleman is a good quality cooler and has always been my favorite hands-down. These happened to be on sale so we were able to get two coolers for just a little bit more money with them being so cheap. You have to watch for those sales and clearance items because they usually have good prices on them and that’s what I always do. I would highly recommend these coolers.

Coleman coolers keep things cold

I purchased this cooler for an up-comming camping trip, it is going to be three days.  I saw the length of time it could hold ice, hopping that is the case (I am concerned with the thickness of the cooler). Also, the lid sealing is not what I expected, thought there would be a rubber seal, as is you have to make sure to push the lid to get a good seal.  I like the Coleman brand and know they make quality products, I will know for sure in July when I go camping.

GOOD, BUT CONCERNED...

First off…Walmart shipped the wrong two items. Had to call to get it corrected but customer service was extremely helpful and had the correct coolers delivered within two days. 

As for the coolers themselves, seems to be fine and the lid is solid. We'll see how well it does in the heat.

Good cooler, helpful customer service

Bought this cooler to go on a camping trip. The cooler kept our food cold. But as the ice melted it started to leak from the valve used to drain the cooler.  We tried to tightened the valve but if there was enough ice that melted and water in the cooler it leaked.
