I've been using this for literally YEARRRSSS and it's never disappointed me. I have very oily skin and this helps with it a lot. It stays on my face almost all day, and retouching still looks great. It also layers on top of foundation, mine is also CoverGirl, very well! I use a thin layer on top of foundation and a bit of blush.
One thing to note though, is that, as a lot of powders do, this will probably look very visible if you have dry and flaky skin on your face. My nose is exactly this, and the only part of my face that isn't oily for whatever reason, and I have to lay it on VERY VERY lightly, if at all, because otherwise It emphasizes the dryness. Layering on a good amount of moisturizer helps with this.

Been using this for many years and still love it!

gives a matte finish, doesn't look cakey, it blended perfectly with my skin tone and the coverage was flawless. I have dry skin so i do have a moisturizing routine before i do my makeup and i had no issues with this powder. It didn't cause any irritation or blemishes later. I will continue to be a repeat customer

Worth it

This is my go-to powder. I like the matte/oil control it gives. I wish there were more color options. I prefer the Creamy Natural shade in other products but that is not available in this product. I go back and forth between the 525 Buff Beige which is a little too dark and the 510 Classic Ivory which is a little too light.  But the finish on my skin makes me continue to gravitate to this product.

Good oil control and matte properties

The formula changed. It now has a shiny tint to it. Seems like too much highlight in it and it tends to make my foundation cake. I’ve used this for years and in the past months the product has changed

Did the formula change??

For me the color wasn't buff beige it was a lighter color, because i buy this covergirl color and its darker and oil control.  I had to take it back to the store to exchange it.

I am HEART BROKEN. I wear full coverage makeup. It's the only powder I found ever worked for maintaining a matte finish. 12 years using this product. Over the last month I have discovered it to now be shiny (almost penalized on my skin and significantly different shades than what I have been using. It's clumping awfully and looks terrible. I have since learned that it's a new formula. It would have been nice if that was advertised on the packaging as I literally have over 20 of them in a discard pile tha I at first thought maybe I bought expired ones. I'll have to change up my products I guess after 13 years. Shame on you covergirl for not labeling your product changes. Such a waste of money

Powder has changed...

This has been my go to for years but now I hate it. I always loved the barely there look and the buff beige color was perfect but the formula changed and now it’s white and cakey looking. It looks like there’s a weird shine in the powder as well. I bought multiple ones thinking it was an old or bad batch but just ended up wasting more money. Please bring back the old formula! If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.

Formula Changed

been using this product for years, they changed the formula !! it is horrible, it literally looks like talcum powder on your skin, my skin looks so white !! very very disappointed will never buy this product again, after years of using it. CoverGirl, if it isn't broke don't fix it !!

If I could rate this product lower than 1 star, I would. It is HORRIBLE! Changing the formula RUINED it!! It is shiny and leaves my skin feeling oily and gross within a few hours of applying. Listen to your customers and change it back! Until then, I will be using a different brand.
