I have hip and knee problems so getting down on the floor with a traditional thin mat causes pain. also getting down on a cold floor doesn't make wanting or having to do physical therapy or exercise any easier. this provides a solid support on carpet or hardwood floors and takes the sting out of concrete slab floors. folds in three sections and has handle to carry when folded. doesn't require anything but the room to lay it out and space to hide it when not in use like behind a couch or under a bed. doesn't weigh much so can be stashed just about anywhere.

Lots of room.to comfortably exercise off the floor.  What I like best is the way it folds, I never exercise on the part that touches the floor.  I'll sew 2 bath towels together for a washable cover.  This is perfect equipment for family exercise. 

The 2 inches of padding lead me to select this mat over the others.   Worth every penny.

LOTS OF ROOM, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE  - RECOMMEND

I have a small home gym so space is everything! It's very sturdy and feels great when doing guided workouts. I considered a plyo box for jumping workouts and was worried about space. But with this mat if I leave it folded, I also use for jumping exercises and jumping rope. So it gives my mat dual purpose in my gym! Love it!

Love My Mat!

Nice mat for the price. Mine is on a tile floor and the padding is enough to be comfortable. Nothing fancy, but it works. Simple to fold and carry. Quality as expected.

Happy with the quality and comfort of this mat

I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter who wants to do gymnastics and she loves it. Her mom bought her a gymnastics bar so she is good to go.  Future Olympic winner in the making!

Perfect gift for my 5 yo grand daughter to practice her summersaults and back bends on our hardwood floors. Good thickness and quality and foldable for space saving.

I have several uses for this mat.  As an exercise mat, as a base for some of my at home PT equipment, but also pretty handy as a little extra cushion on a couch or futon that has seen some wear!

for the quality I believe it's a good price! I love that it has handles on the sides to carry it around easily and it's lightweight! I love the bright pink color too.

I only paid $25 for it…. While shopping for this, everything similar was $40 or more. It's the perfect thickness for anything. It folds up quick and easy with handles to carry and put it up for storage.
I'd definitely recommend!

Mixed bag... I looked carefully at the pictures to make sure that I could buy something I could keep CLEAN by having the handles in a way that would keep all sides that would touch the floor from touching the sides that touched me. That sort of worked out and sort of didn't. Note the handles are not on the far ends of the unit - they are on what amount ot the sides of the unit. So you need to still mark the side iwth a Sharpie or similar, to know which end is going to be "up" for you. Annoying. Otherwise, the unit seems good, thick enough that you can do balance work on it and not feel the floor if you are sensitive. It does not seem like it's going to last 10 years, or even 5 if you work with it daily, so going a little more pro with your sourcing might be good if you work your mat hard. For me it's okay becuase my priorities are to have something I can keep sanitary (can't keep a yoga mat sanitary - you clean on one side while the other is on the floor, then have to turn it over to clean the other side, dirtying the original cleaned side), have osmething thick enough to use comfortably as a chroniclaly ill disabled person, and have smething that will stack nicely. Because of how the orientation of the folds works, I canNOT store this under my bedroom sofa and pull it out to use - the accordian orientation is opposite to what you'd think it would be and so you'll inevitably be on "floor" dirt if you do that. But it does stand up well enough if you lean it on a wall - it's thick enough for that.

Mixed...functional, but significant design flaws

I thought when ordering that a 2 inch thickness would be better for exercising. Instead of the pad being comforable, it is as hard as a brick. I think the padding is styroform and it has no give.
