I got the bike on Tuesday and had it assembled by a professional. I have ridden it the past three days and I am very pleased with it. The bike is actually nicer than I thought I would be. It is easy to ride and fun. My daily runs have been 15-20 miles and I am not fatigued at all when I finish. I had a single speed cruiser with coaster brakes before this one and I wanted an upgrade without getting into the racing bike category. This bike is perfect.

On January 21, 2017, coming back from a 13.8 mile ride, a van ran a stop sign and hit me.    My Schwinn Discover 700cc took the brunt of the collision and sad to say, was totaled.    My injuries were many and 15 days and counting, I still have bruises and pain but my bike lessened my injuries.

That Monday, an insurance adjuster wrote me a check  and I immediately went looking for another Schwinn Discover 700 cc bike.

This bike absolutely fulfills what I am looking for in a bike at my age.   Lightweight frame, great brakes and ease in shifting.    Great on straight a ways and going across intercoastal bridges, not a problem to climb without getting off and walking your bike like you see others doing who don't have a Schwinn.

It is a Schwinn.   That's all you need to know

I researched adult bicycles and decided a hybrid met my needs. The quality is excellent. Everything worked right out of the box. Some assymbly was required but the directions were spot on target. 21 speeds and I have not had a problem. I would definitely recommend this Schwinn bicycle to anyone. I am ser and I had a teenager comment that it was a good looking bike.

Great Bike

I liked it the first time I saw it on line. There were lot's of good review's. Now that I have one I like it even more. Perfect support for a fellow that weighs 265 lbs.

Great Product

This bike appears to be well made and includes quality components, brakes, shifters, wheels and grips.  The only thing I had to replace was the seat, but that is due to my size and age.  The seat that came with the bike appears to be well made and probably very good for most younger and fit riders.

Well made and affordably priced.

You'll enjoy this bike a lot better if you just buy it assembled somewhere.  The few dollars you'll save by having it shipped to you partially disassembled is not worth the hassle.  Mine arrived with a defect in the front brake cables, so I had to request the part from Schwinn.  The rear fender was a little bit twisted so it looked uneven and was almost touching the tire.  Also, there's no link to a video to help with assembly. Schwinn could at least make a little video.  These are all quality control issues that you can avoid if you buy it assembled.  Once it's assembled correctly and adjusted, it's a very nice-looking bike and fun to ride.  My wife really likes it.

The bike is nice, assembling it is not

The bike is what I had hoped for, Aluminum frame (light weight), fenders, multi gears, package rack and shock absorbing front forks. But the info on the website left most of this info out.   There was NO FREE store delivery and a 30% re-stocking fee if I needed to return it.  The only reason I took a chance on purchasing it was the Manager at my local Wal-Mart told me I could return it to his store if I did not find the bike to my liking. So Dear Wal-Mart, please redo your web site to report this bike has, plastic fenders, 21 gears (7X3), 18 inch frame, 700 X 38C wheels, aluminum rims, shock absorbing front forks and please state the weight of the bike.

Bike is Fine, Website Info POOR

This bike was represented as good for hgts of. 5'4-5'8"; however I cann come close to fitting this bike it is waaaaayyyyyy too tall.  I acctually fail and injured my wrist.

Way larger than represented!

Received the bike with a flat and punctured tire. Asked for replacement and never received a replacement. Will not purchase anything from Walmart website again.

Received with a broken tire

Buyer beware - you are purchasing from a “marketplace vendor “ and can't return to the store.  Front tire was spinning uneven and chain was rattling against the cage.  Been dealing with the seller as Walmart referred me to them. No refund issued yet. They want to send me replacement parts! Who is going to change a chain assembly?  I have requested return label and refund to no avail.  Nowhere on Walmart listing does it state final sale or that I would have to deal with a third party company. I will never order from Walmart online again.  This bike is not worth the price tag. Fenders are plastic.
