I read the other reviews about this being “wet” and “gloppy” and the “bad brush” not providing enough definition.  

Here’s the deal:  the brush does a great job of getting the mascara from the bottle to your lash in one quick stroke.  Because the mascara itself spreads well, it quickly coats all sides of your lashes, surrounding them in what will be a tube when it dries out.

To get the “full lash” effect, take an eyelash comb, and comb through the lashes as the mascara dries, and you will get perfect separation.  The mascara cleans out of the lash comb with warm water.

Ok why I REALLY LOVE this mascara…. It is water-resistant, not waterproof…. Which means it does not irritate my eyes and does not require any weird paint-stripper-type chemicals to get it off.

And it stays on like crazy throughout active sweating sports like cross country skiing or long distance bicycling.

For the past 20 years, I’ve been spending over $20 for mascaras that will do all this, and this is the first mascara in this price-point that I’ve ever used that does all this.  And, it’s available in my favorite color midnight blue, which Princess Diana proved makes your eyes look brighter, looks great without being too severe.

I’ve only used it once. But I love it. The brush is spiral shaped small enough so you don’t get mascara on your face. Gave my lashes definition and they look so long.

I love this mascara. I have sparse thin lashes and this mascara provides the oomph! The brush is a perfect size and doesn't collect huge globs of mascara. The brush glides through my lashes and the mascara wraps around my lashes. It doesn't give dreaded spider lashes. It provides definition and made lashes look fabulously full. It didn't budge or smudge during yoga. It removes easily with your usual eye makeup remover. No pulling or tugging at lashes.

No budge or smudge and lashes well defined

Doesn't make your eyelashes look like the pics they show. My cheap mascara makes my lashes look as good  and long as this product. Don't like the way it makes your lashes feel: kinda of clumpy and dry. while your applying it it smears onto your upper eyelid. When removing with makeup remover towelettes it feels like your pulling your lashes out. Won't recommend!

Not As Advertised

I have tried sevaral tubing mascaras and had high hopes for this one. I was not impressed tho. To get any volume and length you need to do multiple coats and very quickly got the spider leg look. If your lashes are thicker and longer naturally this product would do beautifully. I however was not blessed in that dept so mine are decent length and thin.

ok but not the best.

Thought I would like this mascara more than I do. Purchased in the color Brown and simply not impressed.  The color didn't appear as Brown on me, clumped and dried down quickly and didn't notice any tubing effects. As a result I don't plan to repurchase

Eye Enhancer Wrap Tubing Mascara - 810 Espresso

I like to try out new a new tubing mascara, so when Covergirl launched this, I couldn't resist. It is an ok tubing mascara.  I had better.  The wand is not the best, plastic bristles are too short and wide spacing.  ELF Lash Xtender brush is much better than this.  ( I saved that brush for this reason).  My lashes are thin and needed volume, but this mascara is just too clumpy even in one coat.  Two coats made them stick together.  I used ELF's mascara wand to comb out the clumps.  Forget about curling your lashes.  This stuff weighs them down.   I did not see any lengthening.  The best part of this mascara is the tubing.  This did not flake, smudge or irritate my eyes.  Removal was easy.  Warm water for about 15 seconds, comes off in tubes.  The color is more like a very dark brown.  More like black/brown.

Clumpy

Although my lashes appeared longer, they were clumpier. It was also difficult to remove the mascara. Additionally other brands with wrapping outperform this brand.

Not all the hype

This product is terrible!No length,volume or definition.Very flaky and irritated my eyes.I will be returning this immediately.I expected better results from a Covergirl product.

Giving this a low rating due to this mascara being really wet and clumped my lashes and also did not like brush. I do have longer lashes naturally so maybe someone with shorter lashes would like.
