This is a simple crock pot that gets the job done! It is beautiful and I love the clean white color of it. The item is great quality and feels solid. This crockpot has multiple settings but it does not have a timer which is not a big deal. I love the size and it works great!

Great simple crockpot

I understand this slow cooker doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that some of the others have, but all I need is a cooker that cooks slow. This one is great for that. I've made beans, soups, roasts, pork chops, etc. and it has cooked them all to perfection. Holds SO much food. Definitely recommend.

Love it

I have been needing a new slow cooker for quite some time now.  This one is made quite well and pretty nice.  It's just the right size and fit perfectly where I wanted to keep it on my counter.  The lid fits on it nicely.  I'll be making plenty of meals in it for fall!

Just what I needed

I am IN LOVE with this slow cooker! It's just the right size. It fits everything in it when I'm preparing a meal for my family of 6 without an issue! It arrived on time and was well packaged and secured to not be damaged while shopping. I like the style of the cooker and easy functions on it. This slow cooker has made dinner easy and fun for me! Best part about it is that it's easy to clean out afterwards.

Kitchen helper!

I got this for grandson's first birthday party. we made multiple different dishes and some needed to be kept warm. this works wonderful it's large enough to feed multiple people and the lid fits on really nice so everything stays nice and warm. the handle doesn't get too hot so I didn't need a potholder or anything for people too get there food.

perfect for a party!

This is lovely slow cooker and just the right size.  It looks expensive and displays well on the counter top.  The only negative is that there is no light that comes on to show that the cooker is actually on.  You have to feel the side of the pot after a few seconds to tell whether or not it is on.  (Shame, they should have some kind of light to show that it is on).  Other than that, a nice purchase for a not too bad of a price.

Slow Cooker

If you are older (70 and Shorter now) the 6quart inner container is pretty heavy to get out of the metal part when on the counter.  Then once on the counter it was heavy to lift and carry to the refrigerator. Of course, I have plastic rubber containers so I just got a big kirchen spoon and used 3-4 of those to put the leftovers away in. The oval shape makes it easy to divide food into portions when putting it away.    (if you don't want to have a lot of leftovers, you might want to go down to 4 quart.)
I wanted the left overs so I don't have to cook more than 2x's a week and felt it was time to cut down on lunch meat and the like. I've had it for only a couple of weeks, but I use it more now than I did when I had one with the family. I worked, put stuff in, off to work and food was done when we got home. BUT. not everyone was willing to eat "leftovers" so I would take them for lunch or whatever and soon was back to fixing food every night.

The pro's and con's of the 6 Quart crockpot.

The lid doesn't fit the top . It's thin and there is no piece of rubber on the lid to make it seal . I started stew this morning and it's 10:00 pm and it's still not done. When you put lid on half of goes in the crockpot. I wondered why it was only $18.00 now I know. My husband broke my last crockpot and I am looking for the lid to see if it will work on this one.

Lid does not fit.

To me the idea of a slow cook is that I can set it and forget it. With three heat settings I thought this was going to happen. However, unless you shut it off personally, it will just keep cooking forever. I had expected that it would reach a certain temperature and then switch over to warm, which is not the case at all. I now understand that I need to get a digital slow cooker in order to have the ability to set it and forget it and go to warm automatically. Definitely would not recommend it.

Timing

i ordered black on October 27th it was delivered via fedex October 29th. Upon opening the box i saw it was WHITE. i didnt order white. i check my order and indeed i ordered black. i then checked my email to see if i got a email of a a substitution or out of stock. when calling walmart they acknowledge the warehouse employee screwed up but didnt want to make things right. i asked to speak to the supervisor and he called me back 5 hrs later to tell me you can send it back and get a refund im like no refund needed i just want my black one which yall acknowledged that it was walmarts screw up on the recorded phone call. he refused and wouldnt do anything about it.
