I was a little nervous because I had a 5K and I thought what the heck. I ran on them on the road just a few striders…. And I went to the race.
These shoes make you crush it!!!  The only negative I could find is. It is a little high of the arch, but I have high arches.  Definitely meant for racing…. Though I could never do a marathon on these.  I think I'd have to see if I could break in the arch first but certainly a half marathon, 10k or 5K.  You will feel like you are floating.!!!

Shoe is very cushioned. I have flat feet so my shoes have to be very supportive and keep my foot from rolling out. These do the trick for me. This is my third pair. I just love them. Can't wait to try the Rebellion 3 when they go on sale.

Excellent shoe

The rebellion pro 2 is a perfect racing shoe - it enables me to run faster than normal by easily increase the cadence or the stride length, maybe due to its geometry, its plate construction, and its bouncy materials. It is very fun to run in and pushes me to work hard. I wear mizuno neo vista as training shoe size 9.5, but size 10 feels more appropriate for rebellion pro 2.

Fast racing machine

Had hip injury/surgery in the last year and wanted to try something with beveled heel to force landing more forward. 
Takes just a bit to get used to these shoes, and by that I mean how bouncy they are! There is a spot that seriously feels spring-loaded. 
Not many miles yet but can't wait for a 5K race in a few days!
Considering buying another pair.

These shoes feel great on my feet. I'm very happy with this buy. These are my new race day shoes. I'm very happy with this buy. For the price, these shoes were a steal.

Great race day shoes

Definitely a fun shoe to run in and makes fast runs feel great, at least for my feet and legs, as my cardio gave out much sooner. Does take a little bit getting used to especially on sharp turns. Otherwise, it's an awesome shoe!

Great for getting new PRs

I have been using these shoes for speed work and racing. There is a sweet spot for me right where the shoe heel comes to the bottom of the shoe which does rock you forward. I find the split down the bottom of the shoe reduces stability and increased pronation. I would only use this shoe on pavement. I am very interested in trying the new version 3.

First Carbon Shoe

The Wave Rebellion Pro 2 are something special....but a little too special for me unfortunately. I'd only recommend these to some sort of very very serious runner...you'll need time to strategically introduce these into your show rotation to adapt. I had to send them back. I'll stick to my Wave Rebellion flash and Wave Sky rotation...

SuperShoe

To be fair, I am only one run in. I have fairly finicky feet and legs and have not worn Mizuno since about 2005 (when they were actually close to my favorite trainers). Took these out for a casual 8, and then did an uptempo 400 and later 800 during the course of the run. The only drawback seems to be be the lack of any motion control. In a shoe like this, that makes sense, yet you may want to consider this piece if you do not have a wonderful gait and/or just to be certain to not do all of your runs in these. I tack on that last part as these felt great starting off at probably 6:45 - 7:00 minute per mile pace, all the way down to 4:44 mile pace (for 400 and 800) so I could actually see them working for all kinds of runs, even if they seem to force some effortless speed. Walking around in these is odd and unstable but they feel great to run in. At quicker pace, I found my foot plant perhaps needing some work/my foot sliding a little, yet I believe the adjustment curve would not be too bad. My left foot is weaker and I have some tendon issues at the ankle. That said, these really seem to have supreme pop to them and I will be intrigued to give them a go for a full 5k. For comparison, I also train in Saucony Endorphin Pro 2 (~45%), Kilkenny XC 8 Flat (~20%), and Adidas SL (~35%).
