I bought two of these so that I could give one to my son and his wife and we all use them regularly. My youngest son and I use ours almost every day but at least every other day. It’s so much fun to make up different concoctions with so many different flavor profiles. I make mine with low-fat ingredients as well as sugar-free and high protein so it’s a guilt free pleasure. I definitely recommend that you purchase one of these, but be warned that it is addicting. I bought extra cups so that we could all have some ice cream on standby at all times lol. Just buy one, you won’t regret it.

So Much Fun!

Whole family loves making ice cream in this. I also bought more containers in order to prepare more since you need to freeze it a day before.  The recipe that comes with it is delish.  I also do low fat sugar free, and dairy free versions that ChatGPT helped me with.  There are a lot of videos on YouTube that give healthy high protein versions.  It’s nice to have real ice cream because so many in the freezer section are garbage.

Purchased as a gift for my mom.  She loves it!  Has had fun creating different things.  She ordered the recipe book and additional containers she likes it so much.   She is not tech savvy, and had no issues with setting up and learning all the features.  Made a great Mother’s Day gift.

Great gift!

It’s life changing to me, pit a can of fruit in the quart jar, freeze it over night, put in the microwave for 20 seconds then put it on the Ninja ice cream maker, hit the sorbet button and I. 1 minute you have a healthy snack. We’ll never but unhealthy ice cream again.

Make healthy snacks

Well, it does the job.  Freeze your mix overnigh in the provided containers, put a container in the machine, and in a couple minutes it's done.  It's loud! Same as a loud blender.  Actually sounds like a vacuum cleaner!

The Ninja works much better than one of those frozen bowl mixers.  I tried one of those also but it just didn't work with my ice cream recipe, which is very dense.

Freeze over night, process in minutes

After seeing my protein powder brand showing recipes on how to make high protein "ice cream" with their product, I decided to take the plunge.  The unit is big and is definitely something that will live on the countertop, but it is worth it.  I have used it about 10 times now and it works well... I haven't tried any of the recipes from the booklet they provide, but it does have options for regular ice cream, low fat ice cream and sorbet.  I am working on eating healthier and I love ice cream so I am experimenting with Fairlife milk and different protein powder flavors to find my ideal recipe.  The machine works well, but it is loud - not something you are going to sneak away in the middle of the night to use.  There are two containers provided so you can prep a couple of flavors and always have something going. I have found that after the first process, it tends to be a bit powdery depending on my mix, so I add a little more milk and run it through again and it is smooth and nice.

Pays for itself

I absolutely love using this to make low calorie high protein ice cream like desserts.  However, durability is really a problem with these machines.  I have not had one last a full year yet and have been through three of them. It's been different durability or manufacturing issues with each one, although people commonly have issues with the spindle breaking or not functioning, which was an issue I had on one of the units.

Due to the durability issues, unless you have a long-term return or protection plan, these aren't worth it. Despite the fact that when they work, they really are excellent.

So I’m absolutely disgusted right now. 
I bought this Creami a month ago and my husband and the kids and I were enjoying it literally daily for the first few weeks. Protein shakes, blizzards, mcflurries, fruit sorbets, you name it. I made sure they all know to clean the parts when they’re done. Showed them to remove the blade from the lid and give it a good scrub and the containers are cleaned with hot soapy water regularly after every use. 
Well, over the last week we’ve suddenly had this invasion of tiny fruit flies in our kitchen and I couldn’t pinpoint where they were coming from. I’ve checked the fruit basket, the fridge, the pantry. They seem to scatter away in a cloud of them everytime I come near the area where we’ve set up the Creami. So weird. 
Then today, I had frozen some new ingredients and was about to plug in the Creami to blend up my treat and I noticed a light dust of what turned out to be larvae on the platform where I was about to lock in the tub. I had to flip my head over upside down to peer up into the area where the lid locks in and the little nub thing that attaches to the blade is caked with remnants from probably every ice cream concoction we have tried over the last month. *gag* 
Now I spent way too much money on this thing to just toss it out in the trash over some flies. I immediately got to work with a cup of hot water, bleach and an old toothbrush to get all up in every nook and cranny I could reach of this appliance. I ran it through a few cycles blending up plain water and vinegar trying to reach the parts that were out of my reach. It’s currently drying and I’m trying hard to not let this incident turn me off to making my own ice cream ever again. 
It’s frustrating that they don’t have a cleaning function to allow you to manually lower that bar inside to wipe down and disinfect. I mean, it’s being coated in sweet sugary fruits and protein powders and all that leaves a grime that if not cleaned, provides a prime breeding spot for bacteria.  There’s got to be a better way to get access to clean all the parts that come in contact with that stuff.

Hard to clean

Sadly, we’ll never know if this is a good product since the Walmart driver delivered it to… the middle of the woods. He sent a picture of some trees. Not the package in the trees, just some trees. We searched our woods. Our neighbors searched their driveways and woods. No Ninja Creami to be found. Walmart wouldn’t send a replacement and by the time they finish their mysteriously long refund process, 16 days so far, Christmas will long be over.  I only bought it from Walmart so the person I was buying it for wouldn’t see it on our Amazon account.

Delivered by the Grinch

I don’t like writing bad reviews but this in hopes that other people don’t suffer the same problems. I want to start by saying that my complaint is not about the product but about Walmarts online purchase. The Ninja creami is excellent and I am really happy with and definitely recommend this product. 
I had been looking for the best price on the Ninja and found it at a great price at Walmart.com. I ordered it for a gift and the transaction went through without issues and I received confirmation receipt and expected delivery date. Four days later I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled and we are sorry for the inconvenience. No further explanation. I went back on line (despite my better judgement) and reordered it but now it was 35 dollars more expensive. Imagine my surprise when it was delivered the next day without issues!!!
So what was the problem? I contacted customer service and was told my previous order was from a 3rd party vendor and that Walmart has no control over problems that can occur. They refused to match the price or give me store credit for the difference citing they  are independent  from third party vendors. I understand this but Walmart, if you are going to promote 3rd party vendors on your website, you should  stand behind what you are offering on YOUR website.

Walmart.com you need to do better!!!
