[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
When I took the stroller out of the box, my first impression was that it looked elegant and well-designed. I loved the black color paired with the tan/light brown accents on the bars and the nice two-tone detail on the wheels. I was excited to try it, so I put it together right away, which was very easy. All I had to do was click the wheels into place and choose the seat I wanted to use.
It comes with both an infant seat and a toddler seat, which can also be used as a bassinet. Both seats can be positioned forward- or rear-facing, which is very convenient. I especially liked that the infant seat can be used as both a car seat and a stroller seat, so you don’t have to transfer the baby if they fall asleep during a car ride.
The fabric feels soft, and I appreciated that the toddler seat includes extra padding—it definitely makes it more comfortable. However, when I first placed my baby (18 pounds, 11 months)  in the infant seat, the head padding caused his neck to be too reclined, and he seemed uncomfortable and started crying. Once I removed the head padding, he looked much more comfortable and settled down right away.
We tested the infant car seat during a two-hour drive to the zoo. Once we arrived, we switched to the toddler seat so my 3-year-old (32 pounds) and 5-year-old (45 pounds) could take turns riding when they got tired. They both seemed comfortable, and the baby got to take a couple of naps in there, but I would recommend that if you have more than one small child, you might want to consider a double stroller. Otherwise, you may end up holding one child while pushing the stroller!
Right now, my go-to setup is using the infant seat because I can easily convert it into a stroller without waking the baby or carrying the seat around everywhere. One of my favorite features is how tall the infant seat sits in stroller mode—it means I don’t have to bend down as much to reach my baby. The handlebar height is also great and helps with my posture. I also love how spacious the basket is; I can easily fit my large diaper bag, toys, and other essentials without any trouble, the wheels also make rides smoothly.

Maxi Cosi Zelia Pro Travel System

Overall, I had a really positive impression of the Maxi-Cosi Zelia Pro. It’s a very convenient, all-in-one system that makes everyday outings much easier. Being able to move the car seat straight onto the stroller without disturbing my baby is a huge plus.
The fabrics feel soft and cozy, and my little one seems very comfortable in both the stroller and car seat. I also love that the car seat is lightweight, which makes it easier to carry.

The 5 modes are very practical. Right now, my son still uses the car seat, so that’s what I use the most—but I can already tell the world-facing position will soon be my best friend.

What I like most is how versatile and user-friendly it is—it really grows with your child and simplifies daily life.

Truely an amazing travel system

My overall impression of this travel system is really good. It’s super convenient and easy to use, especially when switching between the car seat and stroller. It makes going out with my baby a lot less stressful.

The fabrics feel soft and cozy, and the design is nice and lightweight. My little one seems very comfortable and relaxed both in the stroller and the car seat.

I like that it has 5 different modes because it gives me options as my baby grows. Right now, I mostly use the car seat attached to the stroller since it’s quick and easy.

What I like most is how simple and practical it is. It saves time, feels comfortable for my baby, and is easy to carry and move around.

This system arrived at the perfect moment, as our stroller we used with our daughter did not have a bassinet mode and couldn't be used with our son. I really love that I can have the bassinet facing towards me or away from me. I also like that the seat for the stroller goes up to 50 lbs, allowing me to also use this with my 3 year old. I find the stroller very easy to push, and stable. The brake is easy to engage and release. The handle adjustment height makes this stroller easy to adjust between my 6 ft husband and myself. Currently our favorite mode is using the car seat on the stroller base. I find the stroller base easy to collapse and put into my car.  The car seat clicks in to the base easily and releases one handed! This is a streamlined system with a lot of adjustability. Overall this has been a great addition and really helpful for our family

Great lightweight travel system

I’m super impressed with how convenient and thoughtfully designed it is for everyday use. It looks premium and a luxury product honestly. It’s easy assemble and light weight and doesn’t feel bulky at all.
The car seat was easy setup as I followed the instructions in the manual. While setting up the car seat I noticed the fabric on it felt so premium and soft and I especially loved how well padded and cushioned it is. The car seat is kinda roomy for my baby boy and the base face good height to the car seat making him look outside the window. The only thing I felt was that was big for our sedan (Lexus) car. I have to-adjust the passenger seat to properly set up the car seat.
The 5 different modes are honestly one of my favorite features. I love having the flexibility to switch between them depending on what we’re doing. Right now, my go-to is the stroller mode with the seat facing me it just makes it easier to keep an eye on my baby while we’re out.

What I like most about this travel system is how practical it is without compromising on comfort or style. It’s clearly designed keeping real parents in mindand soo easy transitions, comfort for the baby, and convenience for me.

Convenience Meets Comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start out by saying that we are relatively new parents to a now 7 month old daughter.  We received this travel system to test through the Stellar Product Testing Panel when she was just 6 months old, so we’ve had a chance to really put this to the test in our normal routine over the course of the last month. Typically that routine includes carting back and forth from daycare, but even more so - walking around our hilly town which is primarily residential mixed with a solid main street vibe.  

First Impressions
* Visual Aesthetic - One of the first things we noticed is that right out of the box, the stroller looked very sleek.  I was immediately attracted to the Black and Stone aesthetic and in particular, the design of the wheels is very appealing.  Visually the system looks very luxe and well made. 
* Quality Touch Feel - The material of the bassinet that converts to the upright stroller is very soft to the touch and has an almost ‘scuba’ like feel.  The sunshade is thick and protective from UV rays, but flexible and easy to extend or tuck away.
* High-Volume Storage - The storage space at the bottom of the stroller is spacious and gives you plenty of room for a typical diaper bag x 3.  It also has a higher frame to protect what you are towing from falling out. 
* Quick Start - From my husband’s point of view, it was extremely easy to assemble. (I am certain it would have been easy for me as well, had he let me play a part!) Out of the box and locked on the wheels and we were pretty much ready to go for a test-drive. Similarly, the base for the carseat was easy to install.  Ultimately - a very intuitive system.

What We Love
* Comfort for Baby - By far and away, my daughter’s comfort in the stroller is my favorite part.  Another stroller we had been using that was also a convertible travel system had been failing miserably in this area.  The Maxi Cosi offers a wide center strap that allowed my daughter to have proper cushion and helped stabilize & center her which is mission critical, especially as she is more reliant on the support at this stage in her development. 
* Quality of the Materials  - As mentioned above, the fabric — particularly on the stroller - was very high quality.  The handle is a pebbled stone color and provides good contrast to the black frame and solid grip.  The shine and design of the wheels are also a level above what I’ve seen available, offering both a playful & luxe element.  All the materials seem durable and likely to withstand heavy usage. 
* Buttery Smooth Ride - Right out the door we recognized how smooth the handling of the stroller was — offering smooth sailing and what we called a “boat-like” ride.  The stroller offers meaningfully\ better shock-absorption than others we’ve used to date. 
* Unexpected Features:  Sometimes there are things that delight you, when you didn’t even know you needed them.  There were THREE key features that stood out in this arena. 
--- The two-way swing bar - The ability to open the stroller bar from either side is awesome.  Is it needed? No. Is it convenient? 100%.  Also, the quality of the button to release each side should be noted - it’s up there!
--- The cup holder - Again, never thought I’d care - but this cup holder can actually support my 40 oz Stanley Tumbler whereas past strollers would rotate under its weight, leaving me dehydrated on my walks.  With this cup holder – I’m cruising, sipping and happy. 
--- Self-Standing w/Handle - When the stroller folds up, it doesn’t topple over and can stand on its own.  That’s something we always have cared about.  However, this stroller levels that feature up by also providing a handle that allows for easier manipulation and movement of the frame for loading into the car or elsewhere.

What Could be Improved
* Wide-Load: While this is considered a travel stroller, compared with other systems - we found this to be a wider ride and have concerns about navigating certain restaurants and locales without issue.  To be fair, we straight up avoided those places when testing this stroller because of our concerns about width – and in actuality - it’s only 1” wider, but its enough that we noticed (24.5” wide if you’re wondering vs. 23.5” wide on our previous ride)
* Fabric on the Car seat - This is one area where we weren’t as impressed.  Generally, the car seat didn’t feel as high quality when it came to the fabric and seemed a bit like an afterthought in terms of the design and aesthetic.  The cushioning less dense and a bit hollow. We wouldn’t say it was bad quality, but compared to the bassinet/upright stroller attachment, it left much to be desired. 

All in all, we absolutely love this product and would recommend it.  It has become our new go-to for our day-to-day errands about town and we are super happy that our baby seems secure and comfortable, all while riding in style.

High Quality Smooth Ride with Unexpected Pros

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are on our second child and have tried many stroller and carseat combinations during that period. We were very excited to receive the Maxi Cosi Zelia Pro Travel System as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. One of our absolute favorite things about this system is the comfort for our daughter. The materials by far are superior to the 'average' stroller & carseat in the market. They are very soft to the touch and comfort was obviously a consideration in their design. The materials felt thick yet soft without adding a bunch of weight to the products. The carpet easily transfers from the base to the stroller to make on the go transitions so much easier. Now what I personally love about this travel system is the bassinet option for the stroller. This is definitely a unique feature in the stroller market and with a young child that spends a lot of time in a car seat and swing, it's nice to have an option where her spine isn't always in a curved position. The bassinet covers well for both privacy and sun protection and allows for a comfortable sleep on the go. Overall, this is a very parent friendly system on the go and I cannot say enough about how comfortable this is for our daughter. 

After testing this for a little bit, I think we've only really had two 'issues' with this system. The first is the same issue you'll run into with any brand: cross comparability. The carseat and it's base are not cross compatible with other brands. If this is the system you decide to purchase this won't be a big deal at all. As a family that has already bought into a different brands carseat base system, it's definitely something that would prevent us from making this part of a rotation or switching over completely. Again, you'll find this with every other brand but it is a still a huge factor for consideration.

Our other issue with this is the bulky feeling when wanting to have options on the go between the carseat in the stroller or the bassinet. Since it is either one or the other, if we want options we are stuck bringing both with us in the car when we go out. This makes for much less space in the trunk and some occasional frustrations. My personal opinion is that that is a very good problem to have since this is a rare feature, however at this price point it's another thing to keep in mind.

Overall, we were very happy to have the opportunity to test this product to help others in their product search. This is a VERY high quality system and you won't regret purchasing it. Just keep in mind the lack of cross comparability between brands if you've already bought into another brand, as well as the potential space issue if you want to choose between the bassinet and carseat on the go. But for the comfort, ease of assembly, and overall high quality design, this is a quality purchase. I cannot help but call this a 'five star' quality baby stroller.

Baby luxury

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really like this travel system. It feels sturdy and well-made, but at the same time the car seat is actually pretty lightweight compared to the other one I have, which I really appreciate when I’m carrying my LO around. It’s also been really convenient. The fold is simple, and it fits in my trunk even with a travel stroller I already had, which was important for me.

The fabrics feel nice and cozy, and my baby seems comfortable in both the stroller and car seat. I’ve noticed it keeps his head more aligned compared to another car seat I have, which I like. I will say my partner was bothered by a smell from the fabrics at first, but after airing everything out for about a week, it went away and hasn’t been an issue since.

The 5 modes are a nice feature and make it feel versatile. Right now, I mostly use it with the car seat and adapter because it’s just the easiest option when I’m out and about and don’t want to deal with transferring him from car seat to the full stroller setup.

My favorite parts are probably the cupholder (for staying hydrated!) and the adapter that lets me click the car seat in quickly. Those little things make a big difference day-to-day.

Lightweight Sturdy and New Mom Approved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and overall this is a great product although comes with a bit of a learning curve which impacted our rating. 

The travel system overall is very sleek. The material is awesome, soft, and durable. The stroller has a great glide and has somewhat of a minimalist design even with an oversized basket on the bottom. It’s all very lightweight.  The foot break is also a selling feature of the stroller and better compared to other brands. The foot break engages and disengages easily and is very smooth. That being said, the stroller was not intuitive to use and took a bit of practice to get the hang of. We ended up looking up some YouTube videos to figure it out. To fold the stroller there are 3 steps which is somewhat inconvenient compared to other brands that have a one step folding system. Once it’s folded it also balances delicately on 2 of the wheels that rotate and if the wheels are off it won’t stay up. 
The stroller conveniently has 5 modes. Our favorite right now is standard seat looking out for our 12 month old but we can’t wait to use the other modes for our next little one, especially the carriage/bassinet mode which can look at parents or face out to the world. 
The car seat we love, especially because it has a larger height clearance than other car seats at 32 inches which allowed my 12 month old to use it just a bit longer. The release button for the straps is a bit hard to reach but it does ensure that kids wouldn’t easily be able to get to it. Both the car seat and stroller have a large shade to protect the little ones from sun which is great. The car seat also comes with attachments to clip it in to the stroller which is so convenient during those early days but you do need 2 hands to do it. 
Overall I would recommend this system to someone looking for a stroller with a lot of options, especially if the carriage/bassinet  mode is a top priority, and someone looking for a sleep design with high quality material.
