love the sound. so clear. eaay to connect to blue tooth after downloading black and white Bose app. charge it, hook it up, and enjoy the sound. take it anywhere. loud enough to be heard clearly from 100 yds away. bose quality at a walmart price. win-win.

This little portable speaker has a ‘big' sound. I was skeptical that such a little speaker could make a good, round and full sound, but reviews were good, so I took a chance. I was not disappointed. On the contrary, I am thrilled. Doesn't matter if I hook up my ipad, iphone or laptop, I get great sound. I am listening to music as I am writing this review. I love music and good sound is important to me. 

Take it outside, take it camping, take it out on the porch and you will have amazing sound whether listing to music, and audiobook or podcast.

I first heard one aboard a friend's yacht. It was playing at low volume so I didn't hear its true potential,but I was impressed with the quality of sound. I was looking for a replacement for my soundlink 1 which had died after over decade of service. So when I was traveling i was able to to get a demonstration of the Flex, and I was so impressed that I bought i right away. My nn cmplaint is t been able to hardwire into it with a 3.5mm jack.

Punches above its weight.

I buy Bose regularly online and have had great service and quality products, recently bought certified refurbished and all I can say is quality, even comes with 2 year guarantee, if it didn't state certified refurbished on the box you would never know full marks

Great speaker

Bought a pair to link to my music app and have music in  the lounge    Sound and stereo effect superb
My nephew was so impressed that I bought them a pair in advance for their birthdays next year 
Lovely product  neat and pretty easy to set up and love the colour choices

The actual 2nd generation Flex was returned because the gift was not suitable for my friend however I have purchased 5 Bose Soundflex speakers. I use two in stereo mode or one for enhanced sound quality watching news and drama on You Tube. I have given two speakers to a dear friend and another as a gift which I will add to later so he can also enjoy stereo mode. The brilliance of the clarity always amazes me. As I'm bed bound the speakers are brilliant because of their compact size. The market for Bluetooth speakers tends to be for the younger generation and while these are also ok for any age group I think those who appreciate superb sound quality rather than just boom boom boom sound will be delighted. The other important aspect is USB C charging. Same cable that charges my I pads slips into the flex speaker. I highly recommend them and consider the price to be excellent.

INCREDIBLE SOUND QUALITY

Had been pondering for a while between buying this & another well known retro looking brand, the deeper base & crisper sound definitely swayed me towards Bose plus I already have two other Bose products & they can all be operated from the same app.Shame that it can not be powered on & off from the app like the Bose soundbar I have.

EXCELLENT product.  I had been suffering for a couple of years with a cheaper brand, that was hard to use and had inferior sound.  I am glad I paid extra and got a BOSE.

Excellent

This speaker has amazing sound and volume, with very high clarity. Particularly impressed with the power it has to fill a room with clear sound, and heavy yet clear bass. The app is simple, syncs quickly. I wish it would have two drivers for stereo separation, but it really doesn't need any improvement on sound quality

Great sound, unfortuantly would not turn off via the on off switch. This was the third one I had tried. I spoke to Bose technical about the problem for each Soundlink Flex Portable that I tried.
