perfect replacement for same delta shower head that was leaking. Made my shower into new shower with water pressure restored. Easy installation great sale purchase.

We bought this to replace the identical model purchased several years ago during a remodel. Then, though, it was installed by a plumber who saved none of the paperwork, warranty, and had not registered the product.

The previous version of this shower head had problems from day one. It leaaked from the gasket at the back of the faucet and it retained and kept water within the shower head for several hours - slowly leaking out onto the shower floor. The plumber retired and we could not get DELTA to do anything about these problems. 

So, I bought this head from FAUCETSDIRECT.COM. It is original DELTA, it was trivial to install, it is more attractive than the original model, and it works far better than the original model - no runs, no drips, no seeps, no errors. I was in favor of changing manufacturers but my wife insisted on keeping the DELTA model since all other fixtures in both baths are this DELTA line. I was dubious but she was right and I was wrong. I highly recommend this version of the shower head.

Water pressure is excellent!  Easy to install.

As others have reported, our 2 shower heads of this model developed significant cascading leaks around the shroud/adjustment ring.  It seems likely this is due to an O-ring failure and it is unfortunate that a simple refurbishment kit is not readily available to fix the problem.  Prior to failure, the heads were wonderful.

Water leak through adjustment ring

I had 3 of these showers heads and they all leaked  around the swivel to adjust the spray after 6 months of use. Total garbage shower head. Replaced it with a Moen of similar design. It's been over 14 years now and the Moen shower head still works great.

Terrible shower head

Customers are generally pleased with the shower head's appearance, ease of installation, and exceptional water pressure, which provides a significant improvement in areas with weaker pressure. However, they express dissatisfaction with the gasket, citing leakage issues around the rotating area and O-rings, leading to water retention and slow leaks. Additionally, some users experience leaks, which affect the product's overall performance and appeal.
