This air mattress makes the idea of camping this summer a lot more pleasing. Sleeping on the ground is not a comforting feeling at our age 54 and 68! It is absolutely doable even with my arthritis. Climbing onto the mattress I felt no pain in my knees! I'm looking forward to camping with our younguns. It's a winner

Oh yea

I am a SparkReviewer for Walmart.The airbed arrived safely and very well packaged. Upon opening it I noticed it was a very good quality product. I had a previous one in the sleeper of my semi truck and the Intex one seemed much heavier and more durable.
 Although it didn't come with a pump I was able to use the one from my old air mattress which worked just fine. According to the instructions the bed has to stretch a bit after filling it with air which might make it seem like it is losing air. I didn't expierience any of this. The top had the usual flocked finish and was very firm but comfortable to lay on.
 I am very satisfied with this product and would recomend it to anyone.

Intex Airbed

This air bed was as easy to inflate. Used it when the kids had a sleepover, and most were 5to13 year olds. Two of my nieces slept on it at the same time,each one on opposite ends and they liked the way it felt to their body. Although it wasn’t as firm , because the instructions said it was going to stretch. All I did was pump it up again and we let one of the bigger kids sleep on it the second night. It held its firmness good. Later on that day i myself laid on it and watched television for over an hour and I weigh a little over 200 lbs and l am sure i stretched it more so I ended up pumping it up some more. That night my 17 year old grandson slept on it and he weighs about 150 lbs., and to my surprise i didn’t have to pump it up any more,it held its firmness! Love the feel of the material on my skin and we all agree it was comfortable to lay on. Last of all it was easy to deflate.

Twin 10in Durabeam Downy Airbed

it's durable. works as advertised and doesn't take that long.

Make sure you get the big air pump and NOT  a bicycle tire pump or a ball inflation pump.

Easy dissassemble. just open air location and sit against a wall and it will deflate in no time.

This is the mattress I sleep on at home. It's highly comfortable and helps tremendously with my bad back. A bonus is never having to worry about dust mites or bedbugs. The only downside is they need to be replaced about every four months, as they develop leaks. However, they price makes replacement affordable.

We were anxious to try this air mattress. The box is relatively small, and includes a reminder to "Don't forget a PUMP", and those words are to be heeded. Not being sure just what kind of pump might be appropriate to accomplish the mission of inflation, we tried a small electric pump typically used for bicycle tires. It didn't seem to generate enough air to get the job done in the approximate two and a half minutes mentioned on the instruction sheet. Directing a stronger air stream from a more substantial compressor easily completed the inflation in two minutes. The fact that there isn't a way to directly attach an air compressor to the valve seems to be a good design. A tight fitting might invite over-inflation and damage to the mattress. Once filled, the mattress was comfortable. Individuals that are more than six feet tall will likely find their toes hanging over the bottom edge, but sleeping on the ground or a hard floor would be no fun given the option of sleeping on air. The compact size of the INTEX Dura-Beam is appealing for stowing and storing. A handy option to have on hand for a very reasonable price.

Sleeping on air

bought this brand for more than 10 years because it helps my sciatica and back pain.  Sad to say their quality has been declining greatly.  I bought 2 "king" size air bed and both are not!  so it wasn't just a one-off thing.  I need the extra space for my large pups and me to fit comfortably.   would have exchanged them but with both being same size, it wouldn't have mattered.  I always inflate them in a sealed encasement and close immediately to protect them from any type of damage.

one had the valve and caps were bent from the packaging and was extremely difficult to get it open to inflate and make a good seal with the pump.  after 30 minutes, got air in it then couldn't get the cap to stay closed!!!  huge problem.  I worked with it and after a few days it seemed to seal better but still not great because the whole valve and housing is bent.  

very disappointed and will be looking for another brand.  can't upload pictures from here.  I may try again later.

The Intex twin air mattress used to be a reliable, high‑quality product, but recent purchases have not met that standard. The mattresses no longer maintain inflation, with with proper and normal use, and consistently deflate within a very short period of time. This reflects a noticeable decline in product quality compared to previous years. Additionally, shipping these mattresses in only the manufacturer’s packaging provides no protection or discretion, leaving them vulnerable to dirt, damage, and exposure during transit. Reinstating protective, discreet outer packaging and ensuring consistent product quality would significantly improve the customer experience.

Feedback for Intex Twin Air Mattress

I have had to buy two of these in the past 3 months and about a week ago that number two now has a hole as well. I do not recommend this bed for anyone it's great for one night years but you won't get much more out of it, and the holes are always on one of those spot where the patch won't even work.

I would not recommend this bed for anyone

I ordered this in a queen since we were having an unexpected guest come into town for 2 weeks and we had nowhere to put them.

Since we needed it the sams day, our options were limited so we unfortunately picked this one.

It blew up fine but during the night our guest ended up flat on the floor due to it having a leak somewhere. 

Inflated it again and it deflated throughout the day without anyone being on it.

Not worth the gas and time to return this! We wasted $20 on useless plastic!

Spend a little more and get a better quality to save the embarrassment!
