Clothing size

I don't like tight underwear so I always buy a size up. I love these underwear because they are cotton but they do shrink a tiny bit when you wash them. They cover my pouch and stay in place, even under yoga pants. They wash and wear great and will last for a long time. The cut fits my body well and they are comfortable.

Comfy Cotton That Stays in Place

first time I purchased these was a year ago n a store. they're very comfortable even with the waistband they have I think it's for about a half inch I think they can have a bigger waistband and make them just more comfortable. other than that I love the material I love the way they feel I would purchase them again every time I can find them I will purchase them.

I like them a lot but they must run small because all my other brand size 6 fit fine but these are too small. So I have been meaning to get a size 7 since I did receive a refund. I really want to do this as I live in AZ where we have super hot summers %26 these are nice lightweight material.

They're fine with you put them on, but by the afternoon they begun to stretch out and by the end of the day they've totally given up and look so sad I don't even want to wear them anymore. Maybe they'd be OK for a hot day where'd you'd need a few changes to keep feeling fresh, like hiking or camping. For everyday wear they are too depressing to see at 8pm.

Stretch too much over the day

I used to buy Hanes Hi-Cut panties, size 10, all the time and they would fit well.  I was excited to see some different colors in the package that I ordered on-line but when I got them, they were not a true size 10 but closer to a size 9!  I guess the company has decided that plus-size women won't notice if the sizes of their panties change %26 still label them as 10's.
I couldn't take them back, so I gave them to one of my sisters to wear.

Lesson learned, next time go into the actual store and look at the panties to see if they are the right ones.

Pretty but too small

I have worn Hi-cut, cotton, brief underwear for over 30 years. I have bought Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Just my size and Fit for me. I needed more and bought Haines as they generally last longer. I was severely disappointed. While they changed the leg cut-outs and repositioned them a bit- THAT actually worked out better and other than the waistband- these fit better than they used to. The BIG problem IS the waistband. IT DOES NOT sit at the waist and cover your belly button. It sits and inch or more below your belly button. I guess they are bikini hi-cuts now. AND the waistband itself is about 1/3 the width that it used to be. No more Haines for me.

Not the same :(

I have always bought Hanes, but this last pack was terrible!  I always wash my clothes before wearing them, (yes even if brand new). After one washing, they shrunk so bad and the elastic around legs stretched out.  I probably could have returned them to the store, but I decided to donate them to a shelter or St. Vincent maybe they will fit someone better there. I now have my doubts in buying anymore Hanes underwear.

Unfortunately, these did not hold up at all. I washed them in cold water and dried them on low heat, exactly as recommended. The very first time I put them on, the waistband ripped. The material is extremely thin, much thinner than any cotton underwear I normally buy.

I wear a size 6 in every brand of underwear I own, and the size guide also showed that I should order a 6 for these. Even so, they fit much smaller than expected — easily one to two sizes smaller compared to other size-6 cotton underwear. Because of how tight they are, the fabric tears as soon as I try to put them on.

This happened with multiple pairs from the pack, not just one. Once they rip, they’re no longer wearable, so I had to throw them away.

I was really disappointed, especially since this is a basic item I’ve bought many times from other brands without any issues. Based on the thin material and sizing problems, I wouldn’t purchase these again.

Sizing Runs Very Small, Fabric Tore Quickly

They comfortable because they're so thin they'll certainly be breezy for summer. I'd guess theres no quality control whatsoever. the 1st pair i pulled out i get the joy of hemming the seam in the rear myself because theres apparently no quality control at Hanes anymore at all. i love paying for a product %26 then finishing their jobs!

Once upon a time Hanes made quality underwear. You could count on them for the fit and comfort. Unfortunately that is no longer true. I bought these giving Hanes one last chance to prove me wrong. They didn’t change my mind. The cotton is poor quality and paper thin. The sizing is absurd, they are significantly smaller than expected. The first pair I tried fit like a bikini underwear not a brief. They ripped the first day and had to be thrown away. I would not recommend anyone buy these. It’s a waste of money.
