The M-D Flat-design Aluminum and Vinyl Screw-on Top and Sides Door Seal Kit protects against drafts, moisture, dust and insects. Save on energy by sealing the top and sides of your door and keeping the heat or air conditioning from escaping. This kit comes with three pieces, two 84" pieces for the vertical sides of the door frame, and one 36" piece for the top of the door frame. All of the hardware needed to install is included. Before installation, cut to desired length using a hacksaw and be sure the vinyl bulb is compressed against the door to create a proper seal. Simply screw the three pieces into the door frame.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My parents front door has seriously warped over time, and there are really bad drafts coming in. This door seal was really simple and easy to drill in and install. The complicated part was cutting it down to the exact size. It does a great job of keeping the worst of the cold out.

Great for keeping out drafts

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The product name says a gold finish color, but the description says bronze. The product that arrived says bronze right on it, and it's a really dark bronze color. I actually like the bronze color better than the gold because it blends into the gap and almost looks black. I have odd french doors to the front of my house that we didn't replace when remodeling. The typical slide or stick weather proofing would not work so we tried this. This worked perfectly for the doors. It was easy to predrill the holes and I liked the screws. The sale price was great for the quality.

After installation it feels very durable and sturdy. I would highly recommend this product.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Best thing about this product is it is made in the USA. It comes with all the screws and easy to follow directions.  The screw holes are large enough to give a little bit of play during installation. I would recommend this product.

Nice American made product

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Disclaimer that the product that arrived is bronze color even though the product name is gold and the pictures are also gold. It's more of a deep bronze that resembles black. I've been impressed with every M-D product that I have bought and have no doubt this will keep my door weather proof. I can't feel any air or see any light coming in now. The screw holes are adjustable so you can slide it a bit either way. This is great for doors that don't have the kerf insert.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. To start, MD weather stripping number 01677 is labeled brown on the package, not gold. It's a dark bronze color that is almost black. It's really nice weather stripping though! We had previously gotten some stick-on weather stripping, which didn't really stick and we ended up having to drill in screw holes. This weather stripping is pre-drilled and even includes color-matches screws. The gasket is very robust and feels like it will last a long time. As long as you're looking for dark brown weather stripping, this is a great option!

This weather strips feel very resistant and strong I like the quality of the materials which is a big factor when buying this type of product. Overall I'm pleased and happy with this product it's easy to install and very straightforward I would definitely recommend this.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is simple, easy weather stripping. The product is straight forward, easy to install. It's a very thick, sturdy feeling material. My only gripe is that the coloring isn't really accurate, states that it is gold, but upon receiving it, it's a very dark brown almost.

Waiting a week for this, and then they told me it was lost!  Put on there to send another; their response was, OUT!, will not have replacement.
