I had originally purchased a pair of Converse desert boots several years back, and subsequently ordered a pair of the same in black for my work duties as a Paramedic. This will be my 2nd pair of this style of boot (first from Reebok) and my 2nd pair of equivalent desert tan boots. They are very comfortable boots with some break in, but not much.

I HAVE FOUND THESE TO BE A VERY COMFORTABLE BOOT THAT WILL LAST.  HAVE BEEN WEARING THEM ABOUT 2 YEARS A PAIR FOR THE LAST 11 YEARS.  WILL KEEP BUYING THEM AS LONG AS THEY ARE AVAILABLE.  I AM A SHERIFF'S DEPUTY AND THESE BOOTS SEE SOME TOUGH USE AND STILL HOLD UP.

GOOD QUALITY BOOTS

Awesome boots like always, these are my 3 pairs I bought and the are awesome durable and waterproof even if they don't say it, of course in the beginning of use they are hard to use and it feel little weird but after few long walks they become super comfy and awesome to use.

Boots are awesome. 1st pair ever bought. Always purchased 5.11 due to fact of finding right boot.  OMG best boots ever purchased and wish I would have tried sooner.

I wear tactical boots for work everyday and I am extremely hard on them. I have found this brand to be durable while giving me all the traction and support i need. High reliability for the dollar.

Durable

I‚am a full time firefighter/paramedic. A coworker had a pair of these but in the converse name that he had from when he was in the service. I purchased a pair of these boots in October of 2014 and am still wearing them. They show their age but are still really comfortable. Will retire these and purchase a new pair of the same ones this year. Very comfortable, very durable, and very affordable! Great boot.

Great boots

The left shoe digs into my ankle causing pain when I walk, also the zip up side should be completely open like the older version it is very hard to get the boot on because it does not open far enough to get my feet in so I have to un tie the boot strings and that defeats the purpose of having a zipper on the boot.

If you live in very cold areas than this boot will be fine. They are huge and very insulated. I wish it said that on the description.

Snow boots?!

Nothing Tactical about it. This is my second pair. First pair bought from Police Store were great. Not sure why they ruined the design.
The leather is LOUD and the soles squeak on tile floors.
The tag for both my new and old boots say 10.5 BUT these will fit 11.5. Not sure if this was just these pair or if they all are like that.
