Plain and Simple Look.

This ceiling light from Better Homes & Gardens is awesome. I like it because the installation was very easy. She likes it because it fits the new decor after Ida. The mounting is semi flush as you can see in the pictures. It also sports the ST19 led soft white bulb which adds to the charm of this very cool fixture. The bulb is also energy saving and pumps out 800 lumens which is more than enough for this application.

Better Homes & Gardens Semi Flush Mount Light...

This clear glass light fixture is headed for the extremely dark front porch .. We live in the boondocks where you can still see the stars at night ... . Unfortunately getting up the steps onto the porch is tricky ...especially for older people .. I decided that even tho clear fixture would attract innumerable bugs .. that I would just put in a yellow “ anti bug” bulb rather than the very pretty bulb that came with this fixture!..installing this fixture appears to be a piece of cake .. remove old ceiling fixture .. attach the wires to this flush fitting .. viola!!

The porch

This is a really nice, delicate looking light fixture. We used this in the hallway tonreplace one of the outdated "nipp le" light fixtures. This was so easy to install ourselves, with no previous experience. Please... make sure the breaker box is off before you install

I Love the look of these fixtures. It is very difficult to screw the shade onto the fixture and this caused me to break two shades..thus having to purchase two more fixtures.  It's difficult to get the shade onto evenly as well.  I wish they sold just the shades so that I could stick up on those.

2 out of the 3 fixtures I purchased were broken when I opened the box
