This tool operates as advertised. Simple and effective in compressing caliper pistons. I highly recommend it to other folks who work on their own vehicles.

Great Caliper Piston Compression Tool

The ratcheting caliper wrench works good.  Note that pressure must be applied on either side of the plates to enable the ratcheting action which can be an inconvenience. I would still recommend this tool as it made my complete brake job easier and faster.

Nice tool to own

This tool work fast an easy.  It spread the brake calipers in less than a minute.  I'll use this tool for every brake job I perform!

Maybe I just received a defective one, but this one sucked butt. The magnetic plates wouldn't stick at all. Main reason I purchased it was for the attachment

Maybe mine came defective

After getting to the third brake I realized that the ratcheting gears were starting to wear already and it wouldn't tighten or loosen without pushing the handle at an angle. Definitely gets the job done with some persuasion but you're better off spending a little more on a better option.
