Great flavor and convenience

There are just two of us now and I had wanted to downsize from my 6.5 quart for awhile. This Hamilton Beach is the perfect size for a 4-pound chicken, a 2-pound roast, veggie soups and just anything and everything that you simply want to make smaller portions of. Highly recommend.

Perfect size for smaller families.

I wanted this in BLACK, but it costs twice as much as the exact same model in the brushed stainless model .  Why black ? I like the looks better and it matches my Bunn speed brew coffee maker !   The only thing I really wish Hamilton Beach would include is  the red indicator light  letting you know that the unit is ON , but none of thier crockpots have one !

I was a little skeptical about this product at first because of the low price but after speaking with my daughter about hers, I was sold on it. This has to be one of my better purchases on Walmart.com. I didn't think any "slow" cooker could come close to an original "Crock Pot" but boy, was I ever wrong. This one is FANTASTIC. Slow, even cooking and clean-up is a snap. I use mine 2-3 times per week. Built very well and attractive too. No doubt, this cooker will last a very long time with proper care. I highly recommend this product to anyone...

Absolutely FANTASTIC !!!

I love this slow cooker. I purchased one very similar to it over 20 years ago and I only bought this as a replacement bc my cat knocked it off of the counter. The 20  year old slow cooker still works, I just bought a back up bc I'm not sure how much longer it has lol :)

This is a good size. Not too big that it's cumbersome to wash, but large enough for a huge pot of soup or chili. I find that appliances without a lot of bells and whistles are the best bc there is so much less that could potentially go wrong with them. 

This is such a good slow cooker that I purchased one for my daughter as well. 

I highly recommend it.

Great price, great value

this was a gift for my sister and she loved it

Lid did not have a gasket as described. Walmart store display had gasket but stock did not. Contacted Hamilton Beach: older units did not have gasket. They sent me a lid with gasket. Unit seems to cook faster than recipe calls for (on high settings). Does not take as long.

No gasket on lid

I got this slow cooker because of the ability to secure the lid for travel.  The cheap rubber band was not only hard to place, but in order to get it on I had to burn my fingers.  Not ideal!

first off ,the company that sent me this Hamilton beach slow cooker model %23 was not the one I ordered. and it had already been return from Amazon because the Amazon ticket was inside. bent %26 opened and not even close to the i ordered.
