Great little kayak, very stable and easily maneuverable.  Seat adjustment is adequate but will be interested to see how it holds up.  Paddle is, once again, adequate and it is nice that it comes apart for easy stowage but lacks drip rings and is a little heavy.  All in all, a very nice boat, so much so that I ordered a second!

Great for the price! Easier to get on and off vs the Sit in! (My dad who has bad knees needed to be able to just get on it! Paddle that comes with is of good quality! Even though there is no seat cushion it's still very comfortable and the back rest as well! You can adjust it to even let it let you rest laid back just a tad! I will be outfitting it with upgrades but over all supper happy with my purchase!

Great buy!

This kayak was perfect for me because it fits "INSIDE" my small SUV (Honda Crosstour) with the back seats down.  That was one of my key requirements for a sit-on-top kayak - that it fit inside my vehicle.  This 8-foot kayak handles well for me; I kayak on a very still, calm lake.  Also, I kayak for relaxation, so I am not racing anywhere.  When the wind picked up, it did become a bit more difficult to make progress, but I know that a smaller kayak has some limitations, and I was okay with that.  I am completely happy with this Kayak.  Note that it does not come with scupper plugs; you can buy them separately.  I also purchased an additional seat for some cushion.

A Good 8-Foot Kayak

A nice one person kayak.   The kayak is stable in the water even though the seat is higher than some models.   I have no issues with balance.   The back of the kayak is short which keeps the weight down so it is easy to move around the dock and storage.   My wife and I both enjoy them.

I was looking for an affordable kayak that was less than 9ft so it can fit in my car. This product was available on other websites for much higher prices so Walmart really stood out.

For purchasing my first kayak, i must say i am proud. Love that it has a netted storage section and a cup holder area along with a spot to place smaller items you want close by.

The delivery was a joke. Delivery drive was upset with me I was not home to get my order. When I tried to schedule the delivery maesrk website would not let me. Walmart intervened to set up my delivery and didn't tell me when it would be delivered. Wish I wouldn't have bought from Walmart. They really don't care about the customer

I tried this kayak on a wide %26 slow river, and a better moving fun creek. 
While it was lightweight enough for this 59 y.o. lady to get it inside my Prius for easy transport, I was disappointed in its poor tracking and could not even come close to keeping up with my group - who were borrowing my various Pelican kayaks.  I could easily keep up in my Pelican sit-in kayaks but this was exhausting.  
It was *very* stable and handled alright on a consistently flowing river/creek in class 1-2 little waves %26 chutes.  Being so small, it allowed for basic maneuvers needed to navigate them %26 was also very buoyant.  It was just a LOT of extra work between the tedious drag and the side to side horrible tracking in the flat water zones.
 Expect to have a waterlogged rear the whole time after any splashing fun as there are no drains in the seat so it just pools the water there - and same with the built in depression for personal articles like water bottle or phone between your legs.   I use a seat bottom cushion so I'm not sure how the seat bottom would feel without that but at 5'4" and 155 lbs the seatback held up well %26 the adjustable seatback straps supported me alright but was most comfortable with my lifejacket used as a back cushion.  Bungee straps in cargo area were sturdy %26 useful.
 Built in formed foot brackets were adequately spaced tho not super comfortable for my feet. They did provide just enough grip surface to brace against when paddling %26 vigorous maneuvering.  

Overall, though it had some adequate features for the low price, I was disappointed enough in it's sluggish speed and poor tracking that I returned it. It just took too much effort.   Not great handling on slow moving river sections or stillwater, but would be fun enough for beginners on moving water doing most of the work for you.
Disclosure: I am a Spark driver, delivering for WM, but did buy this kayak at full price %26 tried it twice.

It does exactly what I wanted it too. the biggest problem is the company's shipping is awful they left half of what i ordered in the middle of my drive way the long way. I had to park in my neighbors drive so I could move it to pull in. I addition they dropped 1 off with 2 tags on it. On top of that it was delayed twice, which wouldn't have been a big deal if the other things hadn't also happened.

Decent product if you actually get it.
