This is where they spend a lot of their time. The shade came with very good heavy duty stainless steel hardware. The shade itself is thick and seems durable. It does provide shade. The color is tan which is perfect. It won’t fade like brighter colors. The installation was easy for my husband. It took him minutes. Our plan is to cover most of the playground for the kids. Project for this summer. Now that we know that this shade is of good quality, we will definitely be considering it for the entire playground area.

Of course, setting it up involved another set of hands due to its 13 ft x 7 ft dimensions, but the installation kit provided with it, including high-quality stainless steel components, gave me reassurance that this would be a durable solution rather than a makeshift one. It is made of very breathable high-performance materials that allow for sufficient air circulation without becoming stuffy while blocking up to 95% of harmful UV rays. You instantly feel a noticeable drop in temperature once you get underneath it, and knowing that the material is resistant to molds and mildews gives you further assurance that maintenance will not be an issue. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this Coolaroo Coolhaven Shade Sail Kit! I got the size 13 ft X 7 ft which is pretty large and creates a decent sized shade area. I got the color Sahara which is a light khaki color that blends well with the outdoor area of my house. This comes with most of what you need to set it up but possibly you may need to purchase additional fittings depending on your setup. The included instructions are clear and easy to follow. The material feels strong and durable. The included hardware also feels durable. Overall I can say I recommend this shade sail kit. It's great for creating an additional shaded area outdoors.

It was easy to set up, although I did call for reinforcements cause I wasn't sure how easy it would be. The tightener made it super easy to install the post bolts. The shade sail is made from a durable, weatherproof material. This is a great addition to our backyard patio!

Super shady!

We installed this at our office back patio. We often sit out the there to relax and eat, and the heat can be so oppressive. The sail shade install was easy, it took 2 people, but it went quickly. Now we have cool shade and can sit outside in a nice breeze. Love the UV protectant on this and I imagine we'll enjoy this for years to come.

Easy install, sun protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great shade sail that seems quite sturdy and water resistant. It's also a very nice color and I think is neutral enough to look good in a variety of settings. 

It must be noted though that proper installation of this sail really does require at least two people and potentially some extra supplies that you'll need to purchase or somehow acquire (depending on how your house or backyard is laid out). If you don't have four anchor points in the dimensions of the sail, you'll need to put up at least two. You're going to want those to be pretty sturdy - wood, metal, what have you with a sturdy base so the sail doesn't go flippy floppy in the wind. 

It also requires a degree of intentionality and thoughtfulness about where you're going to put it - this is not something that you're going to slap up in 30 minutes and go "good enough."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seemed like a great idea however the packaging doesn’t come with all the needed parts and pieces. If you want to attach it to poles you need to buy them separately. The instructions also showed multiple pieces you could use to attached it such as a S hook but it was also not included. The material was a little rough and looked almost like straw. I guess it’s supposed to be water proof but just didn’t look flattering. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
