Nice Bath Faucet

We installed 3 Delta Windemere Model B2596LF-OB faucets as part of our house renovation. One objective was to replace chrome with bronze fixtures. After years of using single knob handle lavatory faucets, two handles seem better for whatever reasons. I rated "Design" as Good because the handles look substantial until you grasp them and find they feel more delicate than they appear. A little more mass in the handle would add to the perceived quality.

Works Well But Handles Need More Mass

Customers are impressed with the product's appearance, describing it as beautiful and attractive, with the brushed nickel finish and flowing design receiving particular praise. However, some customers have mixed experiences with assembly, citing difficulties with unstable or insecure parts. While the design is visually appealing, some criticize the handles for feeling delicate and note that the construction could be more robust, impacting overall durability.

Beautiful design and finish, but assembly and durability concerns

Valve stem does not fit well to the handle and does not allow water to flow as expected when handle is turned. The entire handle assembly is unstable, does not seat correctly, and is not secure on the base. It has a considerable wobble. It appears to be prone to a break if accidentally knocked, say by a plastic bottle.The chrome model does not reflect the brushed nickel model shown to us at the store. We were assured that the chrome was just as good, but it is entirely different in quality and durability. A strong chemical plastic odor taints the water coming out of this faucet, and after one week of use, still has not worn off. We choose not to brush our teeth with water coming out of this faucet.
