This was thick, making it easy to paint on the celling. It took 2 coats to cover the water stain i was working on but it did cover. One thing to note is that it is VERY bright, blue toned, white in color. i use white celling paint and or was much brighter.

We are using this to seal up rough cut lumber and logs used in the construction of a cord wood home. This product is the best I have tried (and have tried many), after one heavy coat it completely seals in and primes extremely rough cut wood, its so smooth after one coat I can hardly believe it. Pricey but worth it.

Pricey but worth it

I ripped up my dining room carpeting and laid a thin coat across the OSB that was beneath it. I plan on painting the OSB board and sealing it until I can either afford linoleum or laminate flooring. This product covered up any stains/odor that was present. The only downside is the smell of the product itself. It's been about 2 weeks and the odor is still very present. Overall I'm very happy as it did everything it said it would.

Does what it says.

Amazing product!  Covered old water stains, old paint, and bare plaster walls with one coat. It looks like we painted high quality paint.

Great product

This oil based primer was able to cover my shiny glossed cabinets and actually stick! I was able to paint my kitchen cabinets without sanding using a coat of this primer as prep. I have tried to scratch this off and cannot do it with hard pressure from finger nails. I'm hopeful it allow my paint to stand up to heavy kitchen use!
Be warned- it's oil based so it's very smelly and difficult to clean up, but once it's dried, it's great!

Saved me from sanding

This is the best primer. It is thick and creamy so that it sticks to the brush and does not drip, even when painting overhead. Yet it brushes out easily.

I'm still waiting for this item to get here, I received the roller covers, but not the primer, when I get it and finish the product I will write a review.

it wont mix correctly and has a very kerosene type smell. Its defective

Unfortunately this product did nothing to block the stain even after sanding. I do not recommend. There are other brands that block much better.
