I have owned this kayak for 2 seasons and it is perfect for fishing lakes and slow moving rivers. It tracks well, doesn't weigh much and is easy to get on and off my SUV. recently I lost one of the pieces that secure the seat to the Kayak. I called lifetime and within a week had a replacement part free of charge. Outstanding customer service.

Great for the beginner or even for an experienced kayaker. Bought for the kids that go about 130lbs and they are getting good enough they can even stand on them in calm water. Nice and stable.

Nice beginner kayak

I got the Hydros because it fit in the cabover camper shell on my Tacoma. I had about 8'8" of space, far too small for my old Scrambler Ocean Kayak. This fit my needs and performed far better than expected. The stock seating situation was the most comfortable of any sit on top kayak I have used too, which was unexpected. After some years of use a clip on the seat strap broke while launching off a beach. Lifetime customer service was great and got me back on the water within a week. It would be nice to have parts lists on the website though.

Great boat, great customer service

I really like this kayak.  It is comfortable and easy to maneuver.  It's a little heavy to carry for a 5' woman like myself, but the carry handle in the middle makes it much easier.  The seat is easily adjustable and conveniently folds down for flat storage.  The included paddle is great!!  Nice and long and the rubber water stops kept me dry.

I misplaced my kayak seat. I looked all over trying to purchase another one. I emailed Lifetime and not only did they get back with me swiftly, they also ordered exactly what I needed for me! I've enjoyed their kayak for years now. Thankful for their help in finding my seat!

Great customer service!

I bought this kayak for a vacation rental we own.   Perfect water toy addition.   My personal kayak is almost too heavy for me to move.   This one is light and easy for me to get in the water by myself.   Paddle does come with it, so you have all you need.   Seat was comfortable, too.   My husband calls it a "toy" and says it doesn't qualify as a real kayak, but he is more of an expert.   Hopefully, it will hold up well to rental abuse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this after a friend gave me a lifetime daylite model that I setup for fishing. was surprised at the comfort. the o my issue is with the seat back. I am getting a new bracket and retainer from lifetime, hopefully it will be better. reeling in 7lb trout was thrilling on the kayak. very enjoyable. thanks lifetime.

perfect trout fishing

We were suppose to receive the kayaks on the 27th of June and we had to call on the 1st of July to find out where they were.  After a few phone calls back and forth with the Walmart that they were to be delivered to and customer service on the web, we found them.  After picking the kayaks up (only wrapped in a plastic bag)  we got them home in time for the 4th of July weekend.  They were scratches on both kayaks.  The bungee cords keep falling off and the seat back would not stay connected.   I'm sure we can fix the last 2 problems and but seeing that we bought these new ,not used, it was a bit disappointing.   They look like we bought them off Craigs List.  They are very stable.  I would have added a few more pictures but could only upload 2.   I would recommend this to a friend after they check it out before they leave the store.

One of two purchased Kayaks had a defective seat back. I made one contact with Lifetime, and in less than a week received notification the replacement seat back had been ordered and is on the way! Very impressive!
