Shoe size

Rock solid shoes. I use it for yard cleanup and around the house. Love it so much def will buy another pair. As for hiking or daily walk. I wouldn't because these are super hard and def will hurt your legs/feet. I rated highly because it best suite my needs, so ymmv.

Good for yard work

I am a female who usually buys mens footwear as they fit me better than women's footwear.  These ozark trail men's waterproof hiking shoes are the best. I usually wear a women's size 10 but I purchases a men's size 9 in this shoe.  They fit perfectly.  They are very comfortable, have a great tread on the bottom and are actually WATERPROOF.  What a great price also!!!!  It's a win, win,  win.  One won't be disappointed.,

great comfortable waterproof shoes

Ordered these for a college student needing a pair of water proof shoes for rainy days. They work well for that purpose and were priced really well for shoes that aren't going to be worn very often. College kiddo said they looked good and he was happy with their performance.

Good shoe for rainy days

I picked these up on sale and so far they have been pretty good shoes.

The are on the heavy side but seem to be quite water resistant.

I will say that they do not run small like the listing says. I ordered a 1/2 size up and the fit fine but would have been good with my normal size.

Comfortable,  true to size. Waterproof. A little heavy but not too much. Feels like a boot without the high top. I would point out that the sole is thick / high, almost feels like you're raised up on a platform.  Can affect stability. If you lean a little to either side you could lose balance. I would recommend to purchase especially at the sale price. I use these for yard work not for hiking. Will see if they last. Don't have other hiking shoes to compare to.

Buy it  especially if you find on sale

These are my current work shoes. I have been using them for about a month or so and they have been holding up well. They are good for the clearance price I paid. There are no half or wide width sizes so that could be an issue for some. I am still contemplating buying a second set before they are all gone though. They are quite comfortable. I accidentally stepped in a puddle of water and my feet stayed dry so that was good. Would buy again at clearance price.

I bought these for my son to wear in Costa Rica. We did a lot of hiking and the ground is often wet from rain. I didn't want him to hurt himself, so I wanted affordable hiking shoes knowing he wouldn't wear them much after the trip. I was surprised at their quality and construction, it's great! A real deal for the price. True to size., great tread. One star off as they are heavy shoes IMO. See photos.

Great shoes at this price point

I bought these shoes for both of my boys and they like them. The only complaint is that they are heavy shoes. I didn't shop in the store to be able to compare them to other hiking shoes but they seem like they will serve my boys well through the winter.

Good quality for the sale price.

Wasn't as comfortable as I thought. I couldn't wear it more than hour. Quite sure those with non arch issues wouldn't mind, but I need something that's wide in the front and foam arch support. I ended up giving it away. It is a nice looking shoe, just not for me.

A very strangely formed footbed. Only can be corrected with high arch support insoles. Also a very heavy and clunky shoe.

On the positive side, they are built like a tank.

I'm not returning mine, because I've already spent the money on modifying their design flaw.

Comfortable and durable hiking shoe with excellent grip and value

Horrible dog food bag smell after wearing for several hours. Left a rash on top of both feet. Having to use lotion to heal the rash. Thankfully it's healing. Otherwise Ozark trail would hear more from me if I had to go see a doctor. Will not ever buy another Ozark trail shoe or product. My advice. Don't be cheap when taking care of your feet. Buy high quality and spend the money necessary or go barefoot.
