If you have hardwood floors, this item is a huge help for "crawlers."  Assembly is simple, but you may want to put the playmat in a spot where you don't have to keep taking it apart, because repeating this process over and over again can be a little exhausting.  This is an item that will grow with your children.  It can be used to teach them their ABC's and numbers.  So, it's a good investment.

Great product. I believe its thick enough to protect my little girl. 
Downside: The Letters fall out very easily. It doesn't come with a case.

The mat is alright. My 8 month old has figured out how to pull the mat apart (which easily comes up if a baby steps  or moves on it while playing) so it won't last very long. Also, the mat moves a lot (we have it on carpeted floor. Slight smell to the mat when I took it out of the bag, but went away after a couple of days. I like that it gives more cushion than the carpet, covers a lot of the floor and is colorful. Thought it would be a little better quality for the price.

It's not the colors we ordered and it's the one that's 15$ instead of 50$ like I ordered the 50$ and got the 15$?
