I purchased these recorders to put in boxes for Samaritan's Christmas shoe boxes for kids in other countries. My granddaughter and I have done one box for a girl and one box for a boy for several years. The blue plastic recorders were a unique gift for a child in another country who may not have access to musical instruments. They came with directions a case that protects the recorder, and also a tool to use to clean the recorder. Well worth the money!

Excellent Gift for a Beginner Musician

This recorder is a great value and perfect for beginners, especially younger kids who are just getting interested in music. The sound quality is really good. It can be very loud (fair warning!), which helps kids feel like they're really making music. I also like that it comes with a case, making it easy to store. It's easy to clean, and the fun colors are a bonus. You can pick your child's favorite to make practice even more enjoyable. Perfect as a gift, stocking stuffer, or easter basket.

Affordable, fun recorder with good sound

bought this for my granddaughter for the recorder club at school because of the color. i was surprised at how sturdy it is built and has a good sound. she is thrilled with it.

a decent little recorder at an awesome price! I didnt give it 5 stars because it is plastic, but other than that it's a great little item for 4th/5th grade music students to practice on, or for ANYONE wanting an easy music instrument to learn!!

Firstly, it arrived broken due to improper packaging. Secondly, it had chew/teeth marks all around the mouth piece. The other packaging looked new, but the recorder had definitely been used before.

This came in broke my daughter needed it for music class which was the following day which we were waiting almost 3 weeks for i wouldn't recommend
