I have very oily and hooded eyelids.  Most pencil eyeliners end up smearing and looking messy by the end of the day.  Liquid eyeliner precision is too difficult for me to apply these days.  This elf pencil liner is very pigmented and stays put for much, much longer than all others I've used.  It's not absolutely perfect by the end of the day however I think it would be for those who do not have as oily and hooded eyes as me.  Overall, it's very good and close to the Thrive brand which costs 5x more.  I recommend you give it a try.

This eyeliner is amazing! With my previous liner, I was always wiping the corners of my eyes because it would melt a bit. I bought this before a long trip because I wanted to apply my make up in the mornings of our tour and not have to worry about it and it delivered! My make up was intact at the end of the day, that made me so happy!

The liner that stays put!

Great price for a quality product. ELF products are now my go to. The eyeliners come in a variety of colors. They are easy to apply and do not smudge. Typically I purchase black and brown. Recently, I tried the charcoal. I recommend it too. Nice subtle change.

I bought this product so many times. It is definitely a favor in my household. I love the deep rich color. There's no smearing. There's no sharpening. And it's so easy going on.

Easy to smudge into a smokier look, has a nice, dark saturated color, and is easy to apply. Good price, I always like elf's quality for the cost. Great for all my guyliner needs.

It was recommended by a youtube influencer I trust, and since it was easy to order, inexpensive, and did not require a trip to the store to search for it, I thought I'd try it. I love it, and I've worn it nearly every day since receiving it.

I got this to replace my gel liner so I could make a smaller line and I needed the color to be a bit lighter brown. I can control the pencil better than the eyeliner brush that I've been using for a few years. I switched from this liner to the gel with brush several years ago due to not quite firm eyelids anymore. I'm happy to make the choice as the new pencil just glides on with smoothness and stays on all day without smudging.

Smooth Easy Glide

I can not say enough good about this eyeliner!  E.l.f. is a bargain brand, but this no-budge eyeliner is the BEST i've EVER used!  I am an older woman with sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what I use.  Not only is this non-irritating, but they are not kidding about the NO BUDGE claim!  This is my eyeliner from here on out!

Best eyeliner I've ever purchased and used!

This eyeliner was disappointing, does not go on as smooth as most retractable eyeliner,  after wearing it, it fades  the color is black but it doesn't stay fresh.

This brown eyeliner doesn't apply as smoothly as the same eyeliner in black. I don't understand why that is, but it is frustrating. It takes more time and force to apply since it isn't slick and smooth with application. The color is nice, but the eyeliner fades well before the end of the day and begins to smear a bit too. The black version of this same eyeliner is great! Not sure why this one is so different.
