This black storage box was so hard to get. Kept saying they were sold out. Finally got 2 and they work perfectly for what I'm using it for. It's to hide an outside feral cat's food and water outside for a day's worth and the black color makes the box very hard to see. Made a small window in the side of it cutting with a dremel on 3 sides then raising the plastic piece up to let them go in. Holding plastic piece up with 2 pieces of rubber covered wire. Made hole about 12” long x about 8-10” tall to try and keep out raccoons and so far it has. Hole seems too small for raccoons. It is quite a larger box so be sure you have a place to put it where it's kind of already hidden.

The containers are a very nice size because they're not too large, making them hard to lift or move but they are large enough to hold quite a bit.
I would have preferred a different color than silver/gray but by ordering these in bulk I saved a few dollars and I'm quite happy with them. I was buying them once a month but that actually was costing me more and I was having to lug them home. So this was a real deal for me.
I'm using them for all types of things like crafts,  momentos, supplies, old electronics, and still have some left to use.

Good storage!

I bought tote boxes to put the toys and another household things. Boxes are worth for price.
Below is my experience.

Pros:-
1) The capacity of tote box is 18 gal, so one can use it to place Many things. It has enough capacity for routine use.
2) The lid can be fixed easily. It is tightened enough. My baby can take the toys from the box, put the lid back and close the box properly.
3) Lid material quality is good. Though, my baby sometimes jumps on the lid, it never band and fixed properly.
 4) Design is good and attractive.
5) One can stack easily multiple tote boxes on top of each other. Also you can put extra household items on it.
6) It is durable and sturdy.
7) Great quality and quantity for amount paid.
8) It has sure grip to lift.
9) It has extra strong design.

Cons:-
1)   Height(14 7/8”) and width(18 1/8”)are little bit more,  so It can not  be put under the bed(normal height 14”)or in the closet (normal width 16”).

Good quality

There is nothing to dislike. They are i am using them in a most unusual way. I drilled 1/2 inch holes (9 of them) for drainage and am using them for a raised bed garden. See photo. Where I live, the gophers are a serious problem and these raised beds solved the problem.

Cute Bright Pink Totes- Durable and Great Price

I bought 40 of different colors to pack my house. I used for framed and unframed photos to bedding to spices/tea/coffee items to pots and pans, etc.  18gal is a good size when you have a lot of like items. Used 6 for my stained glass and equipment. They can handle heavy loads that can take 2 people to lift. 
   I did learn that they can be too flexible when packing so need to pay attention or won't get cover on when its packed too wide.
   Biggest draw back is wasted space because of design. Space where handles go is all the way down sides so not straight/flat inside leaving empty spaces and affects the inside dimensions. I hope they redesign so inside is smooth all around. Spaces also made it difficult to mark contents on that side.  Could also be just a bit thicker so it doesnt spread out so far. I used space saver bags for king size bedding and put in 30gal bin. Indentations from handle areas definitely affected how they fit and spread so cover wont fit. I used packing tape to try and pull closer but tape did not stick well. Bin holds a lot with space savers but sometimes they dont stay sealed and the extra air pushed top off. 
   Having different colors also makes it easier to pack by room or like items. Masking tape sticks well to mark contents. They also stack nicely.

18gal Size   Dif Colors Makes Storing Easier

This is what you would expect from Sterilite, decent quality for the price and a nice color. However, of the 8 bins, almost half had a black grease smeared somewhere on them, and it wouldnt come off no matter how I scrubbed!  Not sure if that was from packing. Also, only 7 of the 8 kids were sent. A bit disappointing!

Quality control issues

Was very disappointed.  I ordered 9 bins.  They were delivered but not in a box.  So when I went to go pull them apart, 1 of them looked like it was used and had a lot of wear/tear on it. 2 others were also dirty on the bottom.  So I returned 3 of the 9 to my local store.  The customer service manager at the store was rude and sternly told me that Walmart and Walmart.com aren't the same company when I tried to explain why I was returning the items. Really, walmart.com is  not the same company? Next I went into the store to replace the others I just returned and in the store the bins were $3 less/bin.  So that was disappointing in itself because every dollar counts and I believe a price match should be given.  Which it wasn't.

New Order Seemed like I Received Used Product

The color is beautiful!  They are exactly what I expected except for one small problem, one of them is damaged.  now I am left with a dilemma of logging eight crates back and waiting several days to have them shipped out again or being stuck with one damaged crate. I will call customer service and hopefully they will at least compensate me for the damaged crate.

It not Sterilite's fault

Plastic is too brittle for practical use! Box cracked  under the weight of 2 afghans. I picked it up by one end only as I have done with Rubbermaid and other brands for YEARS and there was a 'crack' sound and the box was cracked. Spend more, even Much more and get a good brand name like Rubbermaid that will serve you for many years , not breaking at first use under 10 pounds of afghans!
