This filter eliminates the residue I was getting from the filter on my refrigerator as well as the chlorine taste. I have no complaints! Even the people enjoying my brewed tea noticed a wonderful change in flavor after I began using this method of filtration!

Good filtration!

My water is very hard stuff and this filter pitcher delivers crystal clear water for me and frisky kitteh. When pouring it will spill out the sides of the spout once in a while, probably because I fill it too much or pour too fast haha. I like it and hopefully it will help prevent my cat from getting expensive UTI's, along with the high quality pet food I get here at Walmart.

Better water for me and furball

I love this water pitcher! I used a different name brand for years. I used a different name brand pitcher for years. This is my first Pur and I'm very happy with it! I will say, when I first opened it, I thought there was an issue with the filter itself but it's completely normal for it to have those little black pieces inside the package, from the filter. You'll soak the filter itself for 15 minutes and then rinse for 10 seconds (I think). I love the slim design of this pitcher. It takes up minimal space and even fits in the door. We go to a local natural spring to get our water and then I filter it in this pitcher. I love the fact that it filters lead, metals, and microplastics. Very happy with this purchase!

Pur Plus 11 Cup Lead Reducing Water Pitcher- Love!

So far it's a wonderful item thats proving to work as stated!  Im in awe as to how much better the Pur water taste and smells! Wow! The reason I chose the Pur system was simply because I was getting a counter top ice maker which recommended using filtered water, the Pur 11 cup pitcher happened to be on sale. Well, now Im a forever fan and life long customer! I truly wish I had understood sooner the immense difference your product makes. The entire household is drinking more WATER!!! Thank you for this! Between filling the ice machine n meeting their demands I'm falling behind..sooo, I'm getting the counter top one next and filters on auto delivery!  If anyone out there is considering Pur? Go for it!

Pur is right!

I bought this because I'm taking chemo and I have well water. It really amazed me that my water tastes so much better, I really wasn't expecting a change to be honest. With my immunity so low from treatment I just wanted to take additional precautions. I'll never stop using this.

I'll never stop using this

I love this water pitcher. There's filter for it (that needs replaced every 2-3 months) is only $9-10 which is great! The only issue I have with this item is that the top tends to lift up sometimes when I'm pouring and water will fall out excessively that I'll have to clean up. Water taste is great!

Love this minus the one issue

This is my third pur pitcher.  Its similar to the first one I had.  Sadly, that lid and handle broke. As did the lid on the second one I bought.  Here's my tip for using these pitchers.   Don't carry by the handle, Support the bottom of the pitcher.  Be mindfil when filling it so that it doesn't tip.  Be careful when removing the change indicator light.  

Ok, now the positives.  

The flavor is better than the Brita filter.  Brita doesn't filter near as much as Pur.  

Also Pur lasts so much longer than Zero.  Zero tastes sour before 1 week.

Please make lids available to purchase.

I love that the lid connects to the container because our okder model always fell off. the only flaw is the pour spout. maybe because its new that seperate lid doesnt open all the way and water spills from the sides a little. that might change as time goes on. would still recommend.

a must have

bought this pitcher to avoid plastic bottles in landfill.  i find the position of the filling door inconvenient.  usually i fillit..let it filter thru, and add water right away so I have water ready.  i have a keurig and nespresso and choose to only use filtered water. i would buy again

good pitcher for clean water

Filter works great and love the size of the conatainer and fun color, but the spout doesn't open easily when you pour it causing water to spill awkwardly unless you hold it open. water also spills out of the top portion when its just been filled so it is a bit tricky to fill it and easily put it right back in the fridge...

Effective water filter pitcher with some design flaws reported

I purchased this Pur Water Pitcher on 1/28/26.  I have had it a month tomorrow.  At 1st it filtered fine and the water taste great.  However in the past week and half it's taking the water 4 or 5 hrs and longer to filter and it's not time to change the filter.  I went to the Pur website for help and read the questions and answers.  Said to take the filter out and shake it to make sure the granules were well distributed and make sure it was in place and sealed correctly.  Did that and still took 4 or 5 or longer hrs to filter.  Tried to contact Pur customer service on the website and it's required to provide name, email, and address.  I can understand requiring name and email in order to respond but requiring a persons address for support is ridiculous in my opinion.  Evidently Pur does not want to support their customers or stand behind their products. I also have the filter for my kitchen sink.  I don't have the box to return it because it worked fine for couple of weeks.  I am not happy with the purchase because in less than a month it is not working and Pur support is terrible.  I would not buy again and definitely do not recommend.
