Great deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the Schlage Connect Smart Deadbolt on a vacation rental and it has been excellent. The installation was simple and the lock feels very solid and well built compared to many other smart locks. The satin nickel finish looks great and matches most modern hardware.

The keypad is bright and easy for guests to use, even at night. One of the best features is being able to program multiple access codes, which makes it perfect for short-term rentals. I can assign unique codes for guests, cleaners, or maintenance and delete them when needed. It saves a lot of hassle compared to physical keys.

The alarm feature and overall build quality also give peace of mind from a security standpoint. After months of use it has been very reliable and the battery life has been good.

If you’re running an Airbnb/VRBO or just want a strong, dependable smart lock for your home, this is a great choice.

Easy set up

Terrible zwave connectivity. Constantly disconnecting, even with hub less than 20 ft away. Requires hub to be within inches for whisper pair to work, after that seems to only work wihtin about 15 ft.... 

Doesnt work as an effective zwave device.
