I've had these about two weeks, two rainy weeks. These perform better in mud than any boots or trail runners I've had. I don't run through creeks or standing water often where I live, so I just need something that will handle the tall, wet grasses nearby. I hike between 3-5 miles every day. So, it's light hiking but 7 days a week. I am so grateful to have these!

KEEN

I've tried nearly every brand of hiking boot and trail runner on the market, mainly because I'm usually not satisfied and switch brands whenever it's time to purchase a new shoe. Keen is the first brand that I'm excited to return to. After several hundred miles on my Terradora boots, it's time for a fresh pair and I'm not looking anywhere else for once! Excited to get my new boots dirty.

My Favorite Hiking Boots

I work as a Oregon State Park Ranger, I needed a boot that is waterproof and durable, but also comfy enough to get me through hard, long days. The boot that I chose is perfect for what I needed. I normally fit size 8, but decided to get a 8.5 to give some extra room for socks. This boot is pretty narrow, I've had them now for two months, I thought they would stretch a bit and get a little better over time, but they have not. My right foot is especially sore, it even goes numb at times. If I had the proper size for a comfortable fit, I would have rated it 5 stars.

My friend recommended Keen to me so when I needed a new pair of walking boots I went for these. On reflection I should have returned and gone for a half size bigger but once they're 'used' it's too late and with thinner sock the fits not too bad. However, the quality of the materials used fall way short of what I expected. I've only had them since early August and the material just above the waterproof has worn on both boots where the foot bends already. Very disappointed and already looking for another pair. They won't be Keen I'm afraid.

Really disappointed

I have the definition of a narrow foot, so I figured ordering my regular size was the right choice. I had previously ordered the Pyrenees and they were much too wide. But unfortunately these were too small for even my small narrow foot, which is disappointing after waiting for them to come back in stock, then waiting weeks for them to arrive, and now they are out of stock once again so I'm unable to order the next size up. I'm simply frustrated with the entire experience but understand that has nothing to do with the quality of the shoe hence the 3 stars.

Run Small

I will give Keen a 5 star for comfort and fit, but quality fell short. After just a few minutes wearing these shoes around the house, you could tell they were going to get a strange crease on the top where your toes bend at the ball of your foot. The quality did not justify the price.

Not good quality

I think Keen has just simply gone to a default narrow shoe. I settled for a pair of boots last year that were 2 sizes too big to get wide enough because I loved the boot so much. Well then I fell down a set of steps because I was not use to wearing a shoes 3” beyond my toes so I decided to choose a different boot and again they go back. I guess I'm done with Keen :slightly_frowning: which saddens me

Too narrow

Looks good, fits good, but they are NOT waterproof. After only a couple hours walking in a heavy rain my socks were wet! Disappointed, as I have many Keen shoes and sandals and wanted this waterproof pair for travel. I should have taken them back, but I waited too long. Now they gather dust in the closet!

not waterproof :(

I loved these boots, until they each developed 2 holes on either side of the toe crease. I am not a heavy user of hiking boots, yet these holes showed up after a year and have gotten to the point where I now need new boots. My last pair of hiking boots lasted me 20 years, so I am very disappointed in this expensive product that I considered a long-term investment.

Boots developed holes with minimal wear

I wanted a good quality pair of waterproof hiking boots, but when I wore these boots hiking on vacation last summer, they made my ankles hurt very badly. It didn't seem to matter if I tied them looser or tighter. I guess I should have just gotten the low version of these. Huge waste of money considering that I can only wear these on very short walks/hikes without them hurting.
