The M-D Aluminum High-profile Outswing Door Threshold features a vinyl seal for protection from drafts, moisture, dust, and insects. The bumper-style design is specifically made for outswing doors. As the door swings shut the vinyl bumper insert creates a seal on the side of the door. The threshold can be used to install with a new door or to replace an existing threshold. All of the hardware needed for installation is included. Before installation, the threshold can be cut to a desired length by using a hacksaw.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. It's very easy to install. The aluminum is high quality. I like when the time comes, I don't need to take it all apart and I will be able to just replace the vinyl part. It fits on our door nicely too.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The 72" Threshold high-profile out swing door threshokdnworked well for my needs. I had received a slightly bent threshold but I was able to bend it back to work. It shouldn't affect the functionality of it. The screws were included and they didn't strip on me like some screws that are included with projects sometimes do. I would recommend.

Nice threshold

received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is a really nice door threshold! It's designed to go on the inside of a outswing door and adds one inch of height. However I used it to transition the gap from an exterior door to our new concrete patio. Before installing this threshold folks would trip going through the door and this threshold makes the transition much easier. It includes three gaskets to effectively seal as well as installation screws. The aluminum is very solid and well designed, but is also easy to cut to size.

Once installed it will last many years. We're hoping to replace our front door threshold with it to give the entryway a cleaner, smarter look. Very nice, big threshold for the price.

I love that this has a higher profile for my business's front door. It does require some special tools to cut down to size but otherwise this is a great quality material and makes for a seamless transition. I also appreciate the screws and seal being included. Installation is simple especially with everything included and the simple instructions.

The vinyl seal that comes with it is easy to insert and has a snug fit for a good seal. The screws are thick and deep for a secure fitting and fit neatly into the ore-drilled holes.
