Multipack quantity

We go through dozens of paper towels each week, so this holder helps prevent waste by not letting us pull off long sheets of 6 at a time. I find just one or two sheets will do the job. It's sturdy, and has some weight to it. The bottom doesn't let it slide around the counter. The brushed metal look is just right, and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

A Welcome Addition to Our Kitchen

This paper towel holder is exactly what I was looking for.  It not only looks nice but it's actually a very good quality heavy/sturdy construction.  It expands it's core to hold the roll in place so that you can tear off without unrolling.  I highly recommend it!

best towel holder I ever had

A real surprise! I didn't realize it had the special “catch” to help with the perfect tear!!! It really is unique and works well especially when trying to get a paper towel using one hand! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!   Works well with my little hands or my 6'3” husband — easy tear!!!!!

WHAT A GREAT FIND!

Bought to replace our old wooden (20  years old) spindle holder. Saw this one on a recent hotel (suite) visit and liked the look and spring mechanism. It's really solid, has a nice stainless appearance and keeps a firm grip on the roll but doesn't rip/ partially tear the sheet. It turns very easily and wish we'd bought one much sooner!

This product is sturdy and does as advertised. I have recommended this to friends and family, and I'm going to buy another one for the house.  high praise when balancing bottles, baby and the other kiddos spill something. NEEDED THIS in my life long ago

Reading all the past reviews, everyone just loves this paper towel holder so I decided to buy it. I am very pleased. It works regardless of the paper towel brand that I use and it tears each section off very easily. And it is easy to replace a roll. It does not topple over and the finish goes with any decor. It is terrific!

Easy to use and sturdy. Worth every penny.

I was happy to find the Kamenstein paper towel stand/holder again, as my older ones have lost their resistance to keep you from tearing off more than one paper at a time. 
This new version looks almost identical to the older one. The brush stainless steel is very pretty and goes perfect in my kitchen.
The bottom base is very sturdy and the paper towel holder will not tip over when pulling/yanking off paper towels as the tension is quite good. 
The twist cap which you have to take off to replace the paper towels (however I realized that I do not need to do that as my rolls fit over it), it is much more light weight and will go flying if you are used to the older more substantially heavier one.
I purchased 3 (needed), and 2 of the bases came with small dings in the sides, however, not large enough to go through the hassle of a return. * note to seller, please protect the bases in packing material.
I recommend these paper towel holders. 
I would purchase from the seller again. Shipping was very fast.

Paper Towel Stand: Very Good

Recommend with reservation. It's extremely tight fit holding towels and makes it hard to tear off without tearing the paper towel the wrong way. So tight that you should hold the base or when you tear the towel off it will take the holder down as well. Grip is bust a tad too tight.

Awfully tight grip!

It holds a roll of paper towels sturdy, I'll give it that much. it has some sort of ratcheting mechanism that works "okay" if you pull it very straight and smoothly, but its stiff and makes it easy to tear at the perforations, or if it's cheap product, wherever. It does hold it very well, but it's rather difficult to just pull off the desired amount and tear it. On the plus side, it does make it easy to tear off a sheet one handed. But, you can hardly pull sheets out one handed without it pulling the whole thing off the counter. and for the price, it's too annoying, but it was the only thing in stock.

The design of the towel holder is good. The material used for the base is not! The base started spotting within days of purchase. It was splashed periodically with water as it sits next to the sink. Spots look as if they are starting to rust. I will attempt to return.

Good design, poor materials

Delivered in two pieces, the base was cracked and broken, separated from the towel holder. Had it been lying on its side I would have assumed the delivery driver had thrown it from the truck. As it was, there was no way it could have been handled and its condition unnoticed…grrr!

Why would you deliver a broken item?
