VW recommended oil for their vehicles. I have been buying it from Walmart for many years. One of the best prices and almost always in stock. When I need engine oil, Walmart os my first go to place

Recommended oil by manufacturer

I been using this oil for a while now. It lasts longer than the next oil change. And still has a brown tint instead of black. Keeps your engine running perfect. These cars recommend the Gold bottle, but it's hard to find. Great oil and does what it's supposed to. Good prices too.

This oil is awesome

Great product, especially  for older engines with high mileage . I have a GMC Sierra with 250,000 miles and this oil gives me instant oil pressure with the 5W and the 40W gives me a little added pressure to compensate for the worn parts. And being fully synthetic helps decrease wear and tear.

GREAT PRODUCT

I tried M*bil-1 5w40 Euro in my ‘16 VW Jetta Sport 1.8t TSI and the oil consumption got pretty bad as I found myself adding a quart every 800 miles. I switched to Castrol Edge 5w40 Euro about 1200 miles ago and oil consumption has significantly decreased as I haven't yet had to add oil.

Less Oil Consumption in my 2016 VW

I had purchased one of these from a Walmart Supercenter, and needed one more to change my oil. I went to four Walmarts with no luck. I visited a few auto parts stores and the price was 40% percent higher, So I ordered two online and got them super quick and saved enough money to get the second 5 quart bottle free. This is a good motor oil and holds up well. I will continue to order this product because it is a excellent oil, I can't beat the price and I get it quick.

Love this product since it offers the lower viscosity 5w rating yet it goes to 40w.  My truck calls for 5w-30 and it works okay.  The 5w-40, used with Lucas High Mileage Oil Stabilizer, gives me longer life with the oil and the engine runs smoother.  DO NOT purchase this online.  Tried twice and each time the store fill my order with the Euro Car 5w40.

Excellent product.

I have used Castrol Edge in my European cars for many years at this point with no issues.  My main reason for using this oil is that it meets several manufacturers internal test standards (Porsche A40 and BMW Longlife-01, in particular) in addition to the usual API grade.

Recommend For Any European Cars

I'm not picky about brands, but I am picky about specs. This oil has the top spec for fully additized oil, NOT obsolete VW 502, but MB 229.5. VW just published a near-equivalent spec VW 511, but you won't find it in the US as yet. 

Sp why spend your money on lesser spec or even unspeced/API oil? New Dexos 2.1 oils are ok for regular American and Asian cars, but this is what you want for European or generally modified engines.

Castrol is a great choice.

One of The Best Engine Oil In The Market

I noticed the difference right away!  Acquired a used Audi Q7 a few months ago, it's a 2018 %26 the indicator came on telling me to add oil🤷🏾‍♀️, did some research %26 purchased this brand for European cars because it was reasonably priced.  Between the owners manual and YouTube University🤭, I did it myself and when I stepped on the gas…..va-vooom🚙💨💨💨💨💨💨. Definitely will repurchase.

I'd be careful getting this oil unless specify by your manual, very thick like honey oil and might not be suitable for all European vehicles, this oil made a mess of my intake tube and my throttle hoses going to my intercooler,, in other words READ what you pour in your engine to improve performance bc it might hinder it instead
