I have been wanting new dishes for quite a while.  The set I wanted was cheaper at Walmart then at Amazon.  Also, I didn't have to worry about breakage if delivered in a truck and tossed on my porch.  The dish set is beautiful, just wanted I hoped for.

The dinnerware set replaces an older stoneware that I had that was a cream, white and dark black underneath, but were super heavy to use on a regular basis

I tried several ways to offload them for free, but nobody wanted them
They are now in the possession of a local charity thrift store

I almost feel a little guilty using my new set…
But not quite as I've had positive review from a couple of friends who have visited and had an opportunity to see them.

Simple elegance

I was worried when I first ordered this online, because in the store they only have the squares. I didn't want squares I wanted the round set. 
When the set arrived, I was so excited to see that it was the round set and it was beautiful. It arrived on time, well packed to make sure nothing was breaking and the set is absolutely delightful.

Replaced a set of heavy dinnerware with a double service (2 sets of 4) of these beautiful Corelle. The corelle is nice enough to entertain and sturdy enough  for everyday as well as being dishwasher safe.  Color is exactly as shown on line. I only wish there were mugs to match.

My new Corelle!!

I highly recommend Corelle!!! I have had a set for about 20 years and they don't break!!! I accidentally dropped a bunch of the bigger cereal or soup bowls, a whole stack on tile and the bottom 2 broke. But my goodness I was just tickled that they didn't all break!!! They take a licking and keep on going strong! I also love the light weight and all the new beautiful designs!!! They are also microwave proof and dishwasher safe! We use ours all the time!

I really like the pattern - it's minimalist in how much of the plate it covers, yet a fun design. I love Corelle dishes - super-durable yet thin, lightweight, and they stack well. I don't know why anyone would buy anything else!

Nice design on great dishes

Very pleased with this item, however, the side plates are very small, the same size as a saucer, wish they could have been more like a side plate.
The rest is lovely, delicate but eye-catching colour and pattern, light to use and pretty robust overall Thanks!

Corelle dinner set

The plates are very light. The paint on the plates looks good as well. However, there is no pain on the bowls that come in the set. So, the bowls look pretty ordinary. Also, the small plates do have the painting on them but they are very small in size. I couldn't find any good use for them. So, I had to return the whole set.

Small plates and bowls are not so good

We ordered two 12 piece sets of the Splendor design Corelle dishes. When we received and opened them, one set was perfect, the other was not.  One box said it was the Splendor design and showed that design on the box but instead it was the Country Cottage design.

1, we didn't get half the quantity ordered; 2, the set pieces in one of the boxes seemed worn as if it had been used and washed and returned or perhaps was poorly enameled by Corelle (unlikely) but usable; 3, Walmart's price is competitive but POINTLESS when you can't get the item!
