Drive Medical Cobra GT4 Heavy Duty Power Mobility Scooter, 22" Seat

Have been looking for a scooter and happen to see this at one of our local stores. 
Scooter runs great and smooth running. The only concern I have is that Drive does not make a basket for the front of the scooter. Found it very difficult when trying to put items in my pack sack which is on the back side of the seat.

I am 360 lbs and this scooter performs well with me.  I haven't taken it very far.  I just need it to get around the VA and maybe some sight seeing on an RV trip.

GT4 Scooter

Very fasr compared to other scooters but requires a lot of practice to overcome some of the handling. Horn is useless outside in traffic and on tghe street. Do not like the deceration mode. I find it to be unsafe when on a road.  Should make sure people realize that whe coming off a strret to cross road, slow down. Lips on declines can be hazardas. Would like to have a mileage counter that would be resetable. Also  do not think mileage is anywhere near what is posted. Thanks Ed

Cobra gt4

I purchased this scooter last fall because it's spec sheet said it had a 35 mile battery range.  I rarely went more than 5 miles with it until a couple of of weeks ago when our weather improved.  I never took it out in the rain. About   a week ago (6/6/17) unplugged it and headed out visit my wife for lunch and came back home (about a 13 mile round trip).  Needless to say, when I got back home I was down to 1 red bar and almost couldn't make up the drive into my garage.  13 miles not 35. My guess is the it will only go about 20 miles on totally flat terrain. 

In addition, the suspension is a joke and does almost nothing to smooth out my ride.

Specs Aren't accurate

I have a friend who has to have the front tires replaced every few months and they are not cheap.  I spoke to drive and was told that is normal for the scooter.  The photo is after 3 months, and have been replaced four times in the less than 2 years.
