I have been using this speaker for about 2 weeks now and I am really impressed with it.
For a speaker that is just a bit bigger than a can of beer the sound quality is outstanding. I use it to listen to my Spotify account. It is loud has good bass, treble and mid tones.
It has the great feature of Google which is very good as you can ask it whatever you like. 
Some of the things that I have asked it to do without any problems Are:- 
Play music.
Play a certain song.
Turn the volume up/down.
Tell me a joke. (This is a personal favourite of my 3 children)
Shut up! (This is a personal favourite of my grumpy miserable wife)
What is the weather going to be like today?
Set a timer/alarm.
The battery lasts the whole day before needing to be charged. 
It comes with easy to follow set-up instructions and is really easy to use.
An added feature of this speaker is that it is waterproof so you can use it outside, whilst in the shower/bathroom and not have to worry about it getting damaged by rain or the moisture from the bathroom. 
I would definitely recommend this speaker for its ease of use, outstanding quality in build and sound quality. 
It sits discreetly in a corner and is really easy on the eye.

Bought this as a family Christmas present and we had a lot of fun with the Google assistant - it can only get better! The kids were in hysterics thinking of daft questions to ask - sometimes the answers were quite good. The sound is excellent, the build quality is 5 star and the big plus is that this is the only battery blue tooth speaker with an assistant that you can carry from room to room. Brilliant.

Big fun!

I was given this for  Christmas as I like to listen to music in the bathroom. It's perfect & linking to my google Assistant makes it so easy to use. No leads & waterproof makes it ideal in my bathroom. The Speaker is amazing, I'm  so happy

Brilliant

The speaker sounds great with all the levels balanced out. The Google Assistant works just as well as on any Google Home product and it makes the speaker a lot of fun to use too.

What a device! The quality of the sound is first rate, the ease of use is superb and the features are a joy. I listen to BBC Radio 6 music a lot and to be able to ask for it to be streamed rather than messing around getting a Bluetooth connection is what technology to enrich our lives is all about.
The only slight downside is the reduction in battery life compared to a Bluetooth version and I'm assuming this is due to the Google assistant. But the positives massively outweigh this slightly negative point.
Overall, it's superb and why did I wait so long to buy one.

Excellent in nearly every department

So I've been using this piece of kit for just over a week now and wow, what a great addition to my collection. From when you take this out of the box it ouses quality. The chargeable feature is easy and then makes the speaker mobile. Once you've setup the voice recognition part which doesn't take long only a minute or so then your ready to rock. I played a good range in music from, rock, pop, jazz, blue and classical and recognised my command everytime, but the thing you recognise straight away is the quality of the sound and how portable it is. I've tried it in every room in the house even the conservatory the quality came through which with other speakers I've used before sounded too tinny, but not this power punching JBL Link 20. This is by far the best speaker of its kind and the tone of bass and treble is just perfect. I highly recommend the JBL Link 20, trust me you won't be disappointed.

Big sound, small speaker

When I opened the box the first thing I realised was how heavy it was,nice weight,the speaker itself looks good and was fairly easy to set up to WiFi and my other devices so I could play music,now to google assistant is brilliant and gives its nearest competition a run for its money,a great feature about this speaker is it is waterproof and I have used mine while in the bathroom and it works perfectly as it does anywhere in the house without losing any connection to WiFi,if you're after a decent speaker with plenty of bass then this would be a great choice

Brilliant piece of kit

I have had this in my possession for a few weeks now, what can i say?..OUTSTANDING
Now i don"t know about you but when i am spending money i like things to be right. From the get go this speaker oozes quality, even the packing that the unit is presented in allows you to feel happy with your purchase.
The unit is so straightforward to set up and link to WiFi and Google Assistant with ease giving you all the assistance as Google home..Excellent facility for those who need it and for those that have never used it will find it will that it brings a quirky bit of pleasure into their lives. 
Having used the JBL before i was expecting a certain standard of sound quality but owing to the size i was thinking my expectations may of been too high.... boy was i wrong.The high"s and Mid tones met my expectations giving a harmonious natural sounding clarity but the Bass from such a small unit was outrageous giving deep clear Lows and was easily able to handle the bass on tracks such as Dave"s "Wanna know" or Kranium"s "Stamina" that work the speaker hard.The speaker is Robust and waterproof and still worked as before even after leaving out in the rain as a test for a short time. The charge lead etc are all high quality as well as being easy to find in JBL orange. Battery Life is very good giving me over the estimated three days standby time,
Some may say the price is high but as they say you get what you pay for. If you want a speaker with unquestionable sound quality and build for the size and price, then this is for you.

Great product, particularly like it's portability I can take my music anywhere in or around the house. Probably useful in the campervan too linked to mobile phone. Battery life pretty good too.

The JBL Link 20 claims to be everything to everyone in terms of bluetooth speaker, mobile with battery operation, WiFi connected, Spotify connected and of course a single device that includes Goggle Assist that means you dont need a seperate Google Home. Unfortunatley they have not succeeded!  The JBL link 20 is a great mobile bluetooth speaker, but it falls very short in ease of setup (could never get it linked to Google) to be able to make this a Google home replacement.  I dont believe this is JBL's problem, but more an issue in the industry with very poor integration between vendor and Google.  If you are looking for a good quality mobile bluetooth speaker and google assistant, stick with individual devices and link via chromecast.
