I love this type of lamp and purchased my first one from Walmart about 20 years ago.  It finally died and when I went to search for a replacement, Walmart did not let me down.  The price beat other competitors and I did not have to travel to purchase it.

I absolutely love the lamps!! They are just the right brightness. Super easy to put together. I mentioned lamps, I bought one last year for the winter blues and it helped having it on. Now having 2, I just bought another one and the lighting is perfect, even if it's cloudy, I have more energy and a better mood!!

Cheapest one I could find. I depend on it so much, I am now taking it for granted. Poor lamp. That is so unfair. (Also, it was so easy to put together. I did check the directions after I put it together. I guess I did it okay.) Thanks. You are the only ones I could find, on line, who carry it. I highly, highly, highly recommend its purchase for other people's use too.

LIGHTS UP MY LIFE ( INCL. MY SEWING AND READING)

I bought this lamp to help me see the fine detail in the small doll clothes I make. The light is bright, without being blinding and truly makes a difference. I think I'm going to buy another one to use over my sewing machine area. It's a great task lamp.

Just put together the lamp. Shipping Box had slight damage on one corner but light bulb is good and started right up.
Only problem I encountered is the the threaded coupler to connect pole 2 to pole 1 .. It was threaded in cockeyed by manuf. . Solution = take out coupler all the way out on pole 2 and install into pole 1 ..
install it 1/2 way..after that was a piece of cake.. Threading poles was easier for me if I slightly wiggle pole as threading. Light fixture stands nice and straight and base seems sturdy enough.

The metal poles and threaded couplers are not the most sturdy metals but once you get everything tightened I'm sure you will be as happy as I am. I like the location of On/Off switch, much easier than leaning over and hitting a push button type switch. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the quailty of the metal pipes and threaded coupler. I had a little wiggle in base pole and twisted the another turn or so and it tightened up nicely.

Overall I like it and the price was right.

The lamp is the right height for sitting in your favorite chair for reading or sewing.
As I read some of the reviews before purchasing, I knew to take it slow and easy when putting
the parts together. I ended up putting a little vegetable oil on the threads, and the pieces screwed
together rather quickly. I would recommend this lamp.

Great lamp for the price.

These lights look rather unobtrusive and the amount of light is great for reading or projects, but since there is no shade to direct the light, the beam can be too much in your eyes (or for someone else in the room) if the chair height is too low. It would be nice if the base telescoped to allow for different heights, but it doesn't.

good light, design okay, could be better

I bought the Reading Lamp mainly because of the Reviews but I guess I got a Lemon.  It was easy to put together without Tools but I only used it  a week and it won't turn On!   Now maybe I could take it apart , put it back together %26 see what happens but  I'm too Old to be interested in Lamps.  Besides I really didn't think the light was good either so Buy at your own Risk.

The manufacturer of the electric plug to this light used two polarized prongs- therefore you can't plug it in to an outlet to use it. My guess is someone put the incorrect parts in the hopper and there will be many more returned. Doesn't anyone inspect their products or have any quality control?

Can't plug it in

This is the second sunlight floor lamp I've purchased. 1st one lasted less than a year. This one lasted less than two weeks. It's a shame because the lamp was wonderful other than its lifespan. Since its the second time the lamp has not lasted, I can't give it a good review.
