This Rest Haven Down Alternative Microfiber Comforter is so soft and very light weight. I didn't know if it was going to be as soft as it was because I always think microfiber is stiff and itchy. Well I was wrong and it's wonderful. I like that it's light in weight and it does actually keep you cool and not to hot under it when your sleeping. Also I like that you can have either side facing up for a different look. This comfortable is hypoallergenic material so that's a plus and it won't bother people. The design is well made and it's stitched very well, made to last for a long time. It didn't come with washing instructions so I looked online and it's machine washable. The colors of this blanket are very nice and goes great with my white bed sheets. I honestly didn't think it was that big when I first opened the box, it was air tight and after I opened it, it fluffed right up and has stayed very soft. This is great for anyone that is allergic to all those other materials out there with this one being hypoallergenic material.

So comfortable

I have purchased other comforters a time or 2 within the last year and none of them were as full as this one. I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked it and it expanded into full size. Not only is it full, it is very nice quality; smooth to the touch. It is dark gray on one side and light gray on the other. The blanket is lightweight but holds warmth. I honestly have nothing negative to say here except that it smells really bad when you unpack it, so wash it right away. It is vacuum sealed, so it must be something to do with that.

Puffier Than Most

Even straight out of the package this comforter started impressing me! I opened up the shrink wrapping, and it puffed out much bigger than in packaging. The wrinkles came out easily as well after being placed on the bed. It's so very soft and comfortable! I'm very pleased with this comforter! It will keep me nice and warm on winter nights, but it's just the right amount of warmth because I won't sweat to death in the summer in Texas either! It's not too heavy and is still breathable in the heat. It is machine washable which is always a plus in bedding comforters, as it's not too often you don't have to dry clean something like this. It's very attractive looking as well, the navy color is so pretty and the gray side is pretty as well. I'm really happy with this comforter and this Rest Haven brand. I'm a new fan and I would highly recommend this comforter! It's one of the softest ones I've ever used- in all seriousness. The price is fanatic for the quality- which will last for years and years to come. The one I had is queen, for reference. Goes well with dark colored furniture- also as pictured! Five stars!!

I got the twin size. It came in a vacuum sealed bag and was really drawn down tight. I feared that after getting it out of the bag it would be compressed in spots and may never actually come back to full size or fluffiness, but it did. From past experiences with similar items, I also thought it might have a smell to it and left it to air out for a few days before use. But, it never really had an odor to begin with.
This is very lightweight but also quite warm. As you can see, it's white. Unlike some of the other reviewers I did not see any spots/stains or anything else on the fabric. The color is quite consistent throughout.
Also, there was no evidence of any loose fibers or tufts of material anywhere. The stitching all seems sound and looks like it is well made.
The fit is spot on.
So far, it's all good, very soft and just about what I was looking for in a comforter.

Great Lightweight Comforter

This comforter did shrink slightly (about one inch all around) when I washed it. But I think that is probably because it puffed up a lot after washing. It did make some of the filling come loose to where you can see it on the comforter. See picture for example. But it came right off with a lint brush. And this filling only did that when I washed it. 

The edge on this comforter is different than what I have seen before. It has binding around the edges and a little loop at each corner. I assume the loops are for decoration. Do not see any use for them. But overall it makes for a nice finished look to the comforter. 

This comforter has the three C's of comforters. It is Cozy. The material that it is made out of is very soft. And feels so nice on the skin. It is Comfy. It has just the right amount of filling to make it feel cushion-y and thick. And it is Cute. With the way that the comforter is sewn together, so that it looks like it has little blocks of puffy comforter, is really cute. And the fact that it is reversible is extra nice. You get two looks in one. 

Having a Down alternative Microfiber makes it nice. You do not have to worry about feathers coming out of it and going all over the place. The Microfiber is good at keeping you warm. But I did not feel like I was getting hotter than I wanted. I felt like it might be able to breath a little bit.

cozy comforter

Rest Haven Down Alternative Microfiber Comforter came3 days ago. I got a twin dark blue. The color is beautiful. It feels like a sleeping bag thats the only way I can explain it and you no how warm they are. I put the comforter on the daybed in my living room. I take naps there and watch tv. The room was so cold from the ac. I loved being cold. I can breathe better. I fell asleep for about 3 hours.I had the comforter wrapped around me. I was happy I napped so long and was cozy! Im sure it was because of comforter!

Soft & Cozy ready for Fall!

I've never used a comforter before. Have inherited good blankets and have a colorful bed spread, so this is a new experience. Even though it's currently hot in California, I put it on my bed. It's pleasantly lighter weight than using one or more blankets. On a summer night, I got way too warm under it, so I know it works. There are many more cold nights than warm ones here in my valley, so I look forward to having it in the winter. I never use the furnace at night (save energy). I got the twin size, and it fits on my XL deep mattress perfectly. It is dual color as desired – either navy blue or grey (“graphite”). I like the dark blue side. I prefer the idea of down alternative rather than real down, especially since it seems to work so well. I haven't given too much thought to bedding, but this product has genuinely caused a mind shift. I will always use a comforter on my bed from now on, a nice inexpensive luxury.

Quite luxurious for a reasonable price

This is an ideal comforter. Not heavy and not bulky. Easy to handle when making up the bed. 
I like to make quilts and was thinking of making a duvet with a pieced top, but when this comforter was on the bed the first time I decided against that and wanted to see the pure whiteness and elegance of it. I have a bed skirt on my bed, and have a full sized bed, but the queen size gives it a bit more of a posh feeling to go with my Parisian theme. Since it is imitation down, I can wash it. I will use a commercial washer because of the size and cool water. It looks so feminine it should be treated tenderly. I can change the pillows with the season and with my quilts also for an accent, I am good to go with this product.. It is very hot in Florida right now, but with the air conditioner I am using this now. I feel like a young child cuddling his blankie. That is why it is called a comforter, 
The light weight makes it perfect for year round use. I received this lovely comforter through the Spark Review Program and am very happy to recommend it.

Rest Haven, a perfect name for this comforter

A rating of 4 is as good as it gets. A rating of 5 would be stellar, nothing in my opinion is that.
Purchased this item because of the value. Down comforters are extremely expensive and just aren't good quality anymore. 20 years ago, they were but not any longer.  Down alternative is the way to go. They are extremely warm in the winter and light enough to use during the summer months; especially if you live in air conditioning. 
This item washes and drys well.
For the money, it's a win-win.

Great Value

The Rest Haven down alternative comforter is made of 100% polyester. The micro fiber filling is very light and not too thick, only about two and one-half pounds. Because this comforter is not made from real down, it is hypoallergenic. I like the box style stitching on this comforter, because it helps to keep the filling from getting lumpy or shifting around after washing. Each square is about ten inches x ten inches in size. I did not see any loose threads, uneven stitches or missed stitching around the edges. I did however notice upon close inspection that the piping around the edge was thicker in some places and thin in others, I am not sure why. This twin-sized comforter is 68 x 86 inches and is machine washable in cold to hot water and tumble dry on low temperature, according to the instructions. Do not iron on medium, do not bleach and do not dry clean. The color is light gray on one side and darker gray on the other. There are eight loops on the edges of the comforter so that it can be used with a duvet cover if desired. It is well made and has a three-year U.S. warranty against manufacturer defects. It is a soft comforter and not at all scratchy or stiff. That is important since it is very light and is great to wrap around you while watching television on the sofa, not just to lay it flat on the bed.

Comfortable and luxurious fabric for a restful night's sleep

I'm sorry for the negative review but I appreciate honest reviews myself when online shopping. 
This feels so incredibly cheap, it's NOT soft at all and not full by any means. I've owned two real down comforters and one down alternative, most recently. This down alternative is horrible quality. I bought this understanding and expecting the quality to not be very good, but geez, this thing is really thin. The reviews were so great, I thought for sure, it was a great buy. Nope, not at all. I'd give this an F.

Returning. Just awful.
