I was new to pools with a liner and did not know how to stop it from turning after the winter while waiting for it to be opened back up. I finally spoke to a pool expert that showed me mercy and explained what to do. He explained to me that a pool will be stubborn… well till it’s not! Keep pouring it in that I didn’t need expensive chlorinator to do this. It took 6 gallons but it did the job with the help of copper based algaecide (Clorox 4 bottles) my pool was crystal clear! The beginning was like a science  project before I started. This stuff worked better than the expensive chemicals. (I spent a fortune on expensive chemicals that did NOT work before searching out the answer) I had it tested at a professional pool place and it had a reading of perfectly balanced. Don’t buy the hype of expensive chemicals are better they are NOT!

We recently started taking care of our own pool chemistry and after exploring several options, this product is much more economical than buying from pool companies. We also purchased accompanying muriatic acid from Walmart. Although you have to check chlorine levels often (about 3 times/week), this did a great job for us than hiring a company maintain the pool. Also it does not add additional calcium or cyanuric acid. Our previous pool maintenance company used stabilized chlorine tabs that significantly raised cyanuric acid levels above 150!

Best liquid chlorine for pools

I have a well and use this in the water treatment system. It worked perfectly and is the same stuff that’s used by the maintenance people who work on the system.

Best value for chlorine on the market. Period. (More work than tablets, obviously, or a higher concentration liquid, but cheaper than anything else on a chlorine normalized basis). This will always be my go-to.

It is a highly cost-effective way to manage your pool chemicals. The pour-and-go nature makes it incredibly simple to use—just measure and add it directly to the deep end with the pump running. The main downside mentioned by users is the physical weight of hauling multiple heavy jugs if you have a very large pool.

This is a good strong brand of pool shock chlorine. Be sure to use it within a few months of purchase. It does not last forever. 

I prefer to get these delivered when I am too busy to take my refill jugs to the pool store. 

I use the entire jug in my pool at night when I need to perform a massive shock and scrub. This is usually after a big rain or when I have been away and neglected the water chemistry.

Strong effective shock

Instruction of amount always varies to different pool size, temperature etc.  Figured out one gallon of 10% chlorine is comparable to two 3" tablets.  It is certainly more expensive but it's all  dissolved chlorine.  So it works more effective than tablets, plus it is debris free. My 15000 gallon is absolutely clear with weekly two gallons.

Cheapest I can find for pool chlorine.

love the product liquid dissoles and blends well ...but I would like to have a conversation with whomever designed the pull off safety seal...it's nearly impossible to use as designed..you end up picking seal off with your fingernails thus getting chlorine on your fingers !

great product...difficult package

These two gallons were 231 days old!  Liquid chlorine starts losing it's potential when it is bottled.  Always check the date.  Don't accept anything more than 50 days old.
