Some garages will attempt to patch your tire, but I feel it's more common now to upsell to a new one. Given the cost of this kit, I thought it was worth trying first. This kit has very easy to grip tools. I used the glue with it, which has the exact smell, color, and consistency of school glue, but okay. I followed the instructions to the letter. The plug has held for over two weeks now with no drop in tire pressure. The kit gives you ample plugs. Overall, I'm impressed.

Worth trying compared to a new tire

fiancée hit a screw, takes some strength to push the puncture handle though and file a few times But if you follow the instructions and then push the second handle down the correct distance with the filling piece it has comfortably held 2 weeks and we had an 2 hour drive the next day. whole process for a novice was 25 min. great value if you don't want a new tire and someone with experience could do it in 10 mins.

SAVED me.  I have an older Jaguar and my tires have more than 50% life, they are NOT cheap tires.  I had a puncture in one.  Because it's all wheel drive, no one would fix it or sell me just one tire - I had to buy all 4.  I was going to have to pay $1200 for new tires if this didn't work.  The guy at the tire store recommended this, I didn't have much faith honestly but its been holding air perfectly for 2 weeks now.

It's good, but there are 2 kinds of plugs in there and I couldn't tell what was different initially. But it turns out they're meant for different-sized holes. 
Overall if you use the correct plug, it's a straight-up process and very good plugs. Love it.

I am a middle-aged female recovering from my 2nd spine surgery and surgery for a shattered wrist. Six weeks ago I had a bolt in my tire, completely flat, not drivable, but bc of surgeries couldn't remove or lift the tire, so bought this kit. First time using a plug kit, took 20 mins, aired the tire, hasn't lost any pressure since!  I intended to have it patched professionally later, but haven't been able to yet, and am so impressed the plug is holding up so well! AMAZING! I'll never leave home without one of these kits in my car again. For reference I drive a Subaru Crosstrek and didn't need any tools aside from what came in the Slime kit. My car's display shows the exact tire pressure of all 4 tires and I check it multiple times a day. It has not changed.

INCREDIBLE! SAVED ME!

Went to three tire stores, who told me the tire was irreparable and all three were rude while doing so. . Went to the local Ford Store to replace tires, and the service manager told me to plug it in myself, as he was not allowed to. He saved me a ton of money and made a customer for life. The kit was easy enough for an almost 80-year-old to handle. took 10 minutes and has been holding air for a month now.

I bought this in preparation for moving 3000 miles cross country knowing i would be going big stretches of 300-400 miles without so much as a Walmart or mcdonalds in the area.  I figured this plug kit would enable me to plug a puncture easily and get to a hotel/repair/replacement in case of emergency.  
I did not have a single event on the drive, thank goodness.  But 5 days after moving into my new apartment, I rolled over a nail maintenance left out.  tire plug worked flawlessly and is still holding, about 300 miles later.  easy to do, should be part of any emergency roadside or car kit.  no complaints, easy to use easy to do.

i've been fixing Flat Tires in Asheville NC ... This kit works well and has been used for many repairs...  please purchase a JAR of tire repair glue...

Buy this and a Can of glue!

This product was just what my cousin needed to fix my low tires, 2, that each had a nail in them. Worked like a charm. Very dependable product. I would recommend to anyone that has to plug a tire.👍

I ordered this to patch my tire, and when I received it, the piece that the rubber went in wasn't cut all the way through. I had to improvise and drill a hole through it because I already had the nail out of it by the time I figured out what was wrong with it.
