TevraPet First Act Plus is a Pet Flea and Tick Treatment for Cats. Tevra Pet First Act Plus for cats takes care of fleas, flea eggs and larvae, and chewing lice. It addresses all stages of ticks including those that may transmit Lyme disease, and aids in the control of sarcoptic mange. First Act Plus contains the same active ingredients (fipronil + (S)-methoprene) as Frontline Plus for cats. This formula is waterproof, no need to reapply medicine after swimming or bathing. The package includes six (6) applicators, each good for 1 month of protection. Apply this product monthly for up to 6 months of protection for your pet and household. Application instructions: Part The hair on the neck at the BASE of the skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and squeeze the applicator to apply the entire contents directly on the skin of your cat. Do not allow your cat to ingest this product or get the product into their eyes. Proper placement of the product on your cat will minimize the opportunity for the cat to lick and ingest the product. Carefully avoid allowing the product to run off the side of the cat. Discard empty applicator and packaging as described in the storage and disposal section. I live on a fixed income and found the price to be within my budget.  I want to make sure my Maggie has no fleas.  She is mostly an in house cat but does sometimes go outside.  I see no signs of fleas or ticks.  It's easy to apply which is important for me.  I would recommend this for anyone  who loves a cat!

WONDERFUL!! Not a single flea on 11 cats within 2 days! We had a flea infestation and the fleas apparently kept jumping back onto the cats and biting them, which then killed them. Apply at the base of the back of the neck, right in the center of the nape of the neck where a mother cat would pick up a kitten. Apply it close to the skin and hold the tube there, while squeezing for several seconds. The main thing is to keep the flea medicine from running down either side of the neck to where the cat can lick it.No salivating, no burning skin or loss of hair, no more fleas!

Works perfectly!!

So, I tried the Tevrapet FirstAct Plus flea and tick prevention on my cat that loves going outside, but is allergic to fleas. It's been a battle keeping her flea free. But, I'm very optimistic using this treatment. After applying it to her I actually saw a couple of fleas jump off of her to get away. Hopefully it continues to work this well over time. So, I am very pleased with this product.

It doesn't have much of a scent at all, and reduces fleas in a matter of minutes after application. It is definitely worth the price, as it seems to get the job done in one use.

Quick to Apply, Easy to Use, Protects Your Pet!

Tevrapet FIRSTACTplus for cats contain the same active ingredients as Frontline Plus for cats. The package contains three applicators and each application lasts for up to six weeks for control of fleas. Although you can expect this product to control reinfestation for up to six weeks for all stages of the flea life cycle, it is recommended to apply this product monthly. In addition to killing all stages of fleas, FIRSTACTplus for cats also kills all stages of the tick life cycle and chewing lice for 30 days. It kills all stages of Brown Dog ticks, American dog ticks, Lone Star ticks, and Deer ticks that can carry Lyme disease. It is very impressive how many pests and stages of their life cycles it can protect your cat from. This product remains effective even after bathing, immersion in water or exposure to sunlight. It is very important that you follow the directions carefully and apply this product after parting the hair to expose the skin in the area between the shoulder blades of the cat as shown in the diagram. I always keep a close eye on my cats when I apply this to make sure they cannot reach the place where I applied the product and lick it. Do not give your cat a bath or get wet for 24 hours after applying this product. This cannot be used on kittens under eight weeks old or under 1.5 pounds, also. You have to cut the applicator tip with scissors to open, so I recommend you keep scissors just for this or thoroughly clean the scissors afterwards.

Takes care of it all for my cat!

We have been using Advantix for years on all of our cats, but we decided to give this a try. This stuff was not bad, but it did not last quite as long as the Advantix does. It is easy to apply, my cats did not have any reaction, and it seemed ok, but I do not think I would choose this over my staple brand. That being said, it is WAY better than some generic brands. It's a mid-priced product with mid-line results. All in all, it's pretty good, but there are better ones out there to use on kitty.

Not bad, but not the best

So the price is better and if us less oily than frontline but.....My cats are inside & out. We have no carpet so it works pretty well for us but did not last the entire month. I understand if my cats go outside after treatment they could get fleas again but I just thought this would prevent them for a full 30 days.

I would have loved zero Stars it did not work well at all I have a long-haired cat and it was almost worse after I put that stuff on her!!!

sorry i bought product

It didn't work. My cat still has fleas, I applied it between her shoulders, like I have done for years. She didn't have a bath after application or 3 days before I applied flea medication.  This is 5 days after applied to give medication a chance to work. All other medication I have used worked between 2 to 3 days. I bought it because it had 5 stars!
