When building our home we decided to go big with our range.  The six burners give me plenty of room for canning and making family dinners.  I love the instant heat the gas cooktop gives me and the reliable heat that the electric oven provides. I have had the range for 7 years and can say I'm still in love.  I take the door off to clean the oven.  The side rack holders come off easy to make the process pretty easy.  The enameled surface still looks new today.  The cooktop can get dirty if you don't clean slips right away. A good grease cutting product makes quick work of it. My only regret is not going one size bigger!

This our second purchase of this range. We purchased one for a home we had in North Carolina and loved it so much we purchased the same range when we moved to our home in Florida. We like the size of the oven and the range of btu's available on the cooktop, especially the burners that have “simmering” controls.

Got this last year!  Love gas range top with electric convection oven.  Like the benefit of gas and electric.  No problems.

We are trying to locate a new 40" All Electric, hopefully Dual Oven, hopefully 5 French plate Burners, Non-Intruding Convection Fan/Oven, very simple, very high quality, & very durable free-standing range to replace our current range that can no longer be repaired. If we have to settle for 36" then we may have to do that & leave a gap. We hope that Thor will have what we need.

Simple High Quality

I bought this gas range after cooking with electric for years. so far i like cooking with it. Some problems with it include: when the burner top is taken off to clean, it is very hard for me to get it back in the right position, also if grease or food gets on it, it is stained even after cleaning. It still looks dirty. When i lean over the stove to clean it my belly hits the knobs and it starts to make igniting sound. The description said i could take out trays under the grates for easy cleaning. i can't do that, which is one of the reasons i bought this thor over two very similar ranges, and i find it hard to clean under the grates with out knocking the burners off. The oven is not self clean{but i knew that when  i bought it} and it would be nice if there were some sort of timer and clock on it. I bought a griddle and its feet sit ont the knob panel. seems wrong. maybe i bought the wrong one.
