I got this for my grandson and he loves it.  He is 23 months old.  He drags it everywhere with him and quickly learned how to draw and erase, use the stamps and interact with the digital screen and sounds.

Absolutely Loves It!!

This is so Much More than just a Magnetic drawing pad! 

Features I like:

1) The Magnetic Pen retracts with little pressure, so your kid cannot stab itself with the Pen… (great feature)

2) There is a slider to clear the Magnetic Board; unlike an “etcher sketch” that you have to shake like crazy to clear the board.

3) There is a Black and White Computer that teaches your kids step by step how to draw, and the Alphabet; Upper and Lowercase Letters, and it differentiates between the Upper an lowercase. It repeats the steps, until you select a new letter, or Move on to the next activity! Love that!

4) It turns off after your child doesn’t use it for a Minute, instead of Coming on when you’re not using it, and all the buttons have a function. I’ve bought a few toys for My kids that have had plenty of fake features, as if to trick you; and toys that are on a timer, that pop on for no reason in the Middle of the night… There’s also a Mute button…

Dislikes, or Neutral aspects:

1) The computer screen is black and white, but Maybe future Models will have color…

2) The Magnets that are a House and Mouse shape are a little small… 

3) I really cannot think of anything else… When we received it, it was in great condition and fully functional: as I said.
This is probably one of the best learning tools I’ve bought My kids, and I have three leap frog devices that they just beat up and step on…

So Much More than a Magnetic Drawing Board!

This product was originally purchased as a learning device to help my younger son write the alphabet. He uses it often to practice his writing or draw. My 2 year old enjoys scribbling and erasing on it as well.

Great for kids learning to write.

The shipping was SO fast. Was in my front porch the NEXT morning. So excited to give this to my nephews! :)

The magnetic pieces can be lost fast but overall I love this for my kids! From the tracing stencils %26 the learning buttons with the activities, I think it is super educational! My kids always bring me their drawing pad asking me to turn it out %26 play with them!

Perfect for learning toddlers

Was bigger than expected but the kids will love it!

I purchased this Vtech writing center to help my 4 year old preschooler who’s struggling with writing and drawing. The tool is amazing. In just a few days I see signs of improvement. 

However, the packaging is terrible. It’s so hard to remove the toy from the box. It’s like Vtech invested more in the security of the box. The cardboard piece the tool in locked into is interlocked into the main box and you can’t just pull it out, you have to break the box all around. Trying to get the toy out it popped back and busted my lip. I do not recommend letting a child open the box and I do suggest you cut the box all around before attempting to remove the toy.

Great Learning Tool...but Packaging is Bad

Bought it for a 3 year old who had no clue how to use it, except to scribble, even though we patiently tried to show them. But their 5 year old sibling tried it and liked it. I would say it is more appropriate for at least a 4 year old, not a 3 year old.

More Appropriate for a 4 to 5 Year Old

Item wasn’t DELIVERED in pic shown it’s obvious that’s not with the item shown …only 1 item delivered…was hoping just maybe they were counted the warranty as the second item or something since NO table was delivered!!!
